Refs have always been and will continue to be part of the game. Great season for TH but it’s over, time to talk about the teams that are still in it.
They’re always looking for additional refs — if you can do a better job, sign up and quit bitching ,,, move on son
This is BS bitching about refs? Cmon silk panty parents.. lil bubble wrap Johnny has to learn he is not so special sometime.... Friends has beat TH not only twice this year but twice last year and the year before that.. but somehow TH is the better team? I guess the refs don't like Hillers or MILFS... but in my experience refs like MILFS very much so that cant be it

And if TH manhandled Friends the entire game as you say they did, then the game should not have been decided by a so called “terrible call” .... just saying
All I’m saying to you guys is to watch the footage. Do you think that touched the kids foot? If you do then you can call me an idiot but even Stevie wonder could see that it didn’t. I don’t know if you guys played football or not I did and I would say I was a pretty good player in my time but football is a game about momentum and a call like that can completely shift a game.
doesent matter it was close enough to garner the call. refs dont get to watch the footage to make the call its real time and dude thought it did its that simple .If your a better team then that call shouldn't have mattered. .. talking about changing on mo and shit,, cmon man..we all played and some us at very high levels.. none of us would cry about that call... how about get the f away from the ball?
umm ok .. starting QB and DB all four years in HS in MD, KS and Cali as well as played baseball in the minors for 3 years but yeah NAF lol
in the words of Lou Holtz, “ one way to save face is to keep the lower part shut”.....hopefully complaining about the refs doesn’t diminish what TH did on the field this season. Lose with grace and humility, just advising
Obviously you’ve figured out already, there will be no sympathy from the forum. Doesn’t help that your buddy drools1127 was bumping his gums about TH. For future reference, don’t hype your team before they actually win something.
Just watched video - if placing blame here, place it on the coach and player ... no way in hell should that kid be that close to the ball — stay away - simple. To close to call from video (looks like it touched him) and definitely to close in real time. Good call by ref - called it like he saw it
I do agree with you about staying away from the ball that is a poison ball. And if all that is true about your athletic career good for you. I am usually a gracious loser and am not one to complain about officiating as it is part of a game but that’s not a call you make in a game where everything is on the line. Also don’t take away from all these kids did they beat the 1 seed last week and won their first playoff game in school history by beating a school more than 3 times their size. I may be biased and I get that as we all are because we have some connection to a school or we wouldn’t be on this site. Friends has had a heck of a season with a small number of kids going out for football this year and I am not taking anything away from them. Hats off to them. I’m not gonna be the person to say that any of these KIDS don’t deserve respect because this is a game at the end of the day and it’s a game we all love and would do anything to play again
Thats all good man.. but ease up on beating the 1 seed stuff.. Its a point system and AI played a weak schedule also... I seriously doubt if any of us were seeding the tournament on what we thought AI would even be in the top 3.. Then AI decides its a good idea to blow their 1 seed and play at 8 seeds home field lol that had disaster written all over it lol crazy.. TH had a good season but lets keep it in perspective..
If it makes you feel better QB6 I will share a story with you.. My Sons Sr year we had to travel down to Laurel for a play-off game.. A game we were favorites in,, The game came down to a hail Mary play for Laurel and Laurel WR clearly grabbed our DB arms and pulled him away to the the ground and caught the pass and scored the game winner.. This was right in front of a ref watching.. Ref kept flag in pocket and we lost.. Yeah at first I was pissed and my initial reaction was to blame the ref.. but then I thought about it.. We shouldn't have been in that position anyway for the call to make a difference hell our QB fumbled and lost 4 snaps two in the redzone and one was returned for TD...I dont blame the ref he has to get out of there and home safely to his family lol anyway the point is there are many situations in a game that have an impact more that just one call

I was down there for that game .. probably 4-5 years ago. Was clearly a penalty the wasn’t called. Like you said though, many things happen during the course of a game that determines the outcome.
The most impressive thing about this entire board is the volume of post you pump out per day , week , month, and year. It’s truly a amazing thing to see. Everytime I look here there are 100s of post by you I missed. Have you sat down to figure out how many hours a week your putting in here?

If your average post takes about 30 seconds you have spent 7042 minutes just posting here. This does not take into account amount of time you spend reading post or browsing here. I would say at minimum you have spent 30k minutes plus on here in your lifetime. About 500 hours or 20 full days minimum. Pretty impressive
yeah.. I like it here... Its what I do... we all have to do something.. I suppose there are worse things I could be doing with my time,, Actually I have done worse things,, This makes me happy and occupies my time and its not hurting anyone or myself.. Not much of a TV watcher I prefer more interactive entertainment.. I know its not mainstream but I have never been that.. I am happy though and these days it more than most folks have.. Im sorry if that doesn't conform to your ideal of whats normal.. like it or not.. I am DePreps..
I'll be fair though there has been plenty of times I woke up after a drunk and got on here and had to edit posts from the night before.. so QB6 I get it.. emotions got the best of you and in the light of day you realized ..yeah that was not really the best thing to say... its all good

Thank you..its a talent .. lol.. seriously.. I write better than I talk.. Those that know me in real life away from here would describe me as a nice guy but very quiet.. I am shy in public to a degree and not much into small talk.. I suffer from social anxiety disorder from my upbringing and this forum allows me to be me without those anxieties.. In doing so I have discovered a talent I didnt know I had and thats writing.. I enjoy writing it is a release for me.. why am I telling you folks this personal stuff? well I believe honestly sharing with others is healing and helpful to all mankind in understanding each other.. I believe we as country lack honest communication and understanding and rely on the media to tell us whats going on.. Media is BS.. Talk to others, write to others, share whats going on in your lives and how you feel... People are more understanding and more alike than what is being put out there.. we are one..
