Not really all that strange when you consider the rise of charter and tech schools. It was just a matter of time before some of the great programs felt the effects of that. Sad, absolutely. I was at both the St. Mark's and Penn games Newark played and there was a time where if you didn't get there early, you weren't getting a seat. Both games were half full. The times, they are a changin'.
With the 2 votechs moving to Flight A, Newark will be joining Delcastle as the 2 worst programs in the conference. they may only have 1 win the next 2 years.
Eh, I don't know about that. While Middletown should be top notch, Penn and Concord can be unpredictable each year and I don't think St. Georges and Hodgson will adjust to Flight A well right away. Appo has yet to prove themselves also.

So you think Newark beats someone else in Flight A not named Delcastle? I agree Hvt will not be that good. They will be bottom half and really struggle. Look for them the shrink their freshman classes to get back to Flight b asap. lol
I've got to believe that Newark will get better. This season they get a pass in my book. New coach and a new start. Last nights score was surprising. I know AI was a .500 team but they didn't impress me much when I saw them. The game should have been more competitive.
Where did all the football players go that used to go to Newark? Newark Charter doesn't have football? Somebody said vo-tech? Where? St. Georges? Kind of a long haul.
