I believe it will- it is my understanding the "Gents" were only allotted 400 tix for the game!
My wife's cousin lives just outside Smyrna in Clayton and said the whole town was showing up last year for their home games. If that is any barometer of this years support I'm thinking it's going to be standing room only.
Read they're bringing in extra bleachers and opening gates at 5:30 for the large crowd that's expected, so plan accordingly in Smyrna. I'll be down at Woodbridge vs Friends. Shame one of these wasn't on Saturday as there doesn't appear to be anything very interesting tomorrow.
The over/under on personal fouls/unsportsmanlike conduct penalties in the Sussex tech vs. Laurel game is 9. I will try to keep an accurate count. And really hope that I am wrong.
I was debating going to this one as well. Only because Woodbridge has a Milford graduate on their coaching staff, so that can't be purely evil. It all depends on what time I get my laundry finished and my house cleaned up. Trip up to Brooklyn tomorrow to celebrate my aunts 60th jubilee as a nun. So no Saturday football either.
According to everyone in their right mind, Sallies has no chance tonight. I never claimed to be in mine so I'm picking the Sals tonight in an upset. If the D line keeps enough pressure on Smyrna's QB, Sallies DB Mike Drake has 3 picks and takes a couple to the house. Hey....they nominated Trump, didn't they?
I second that....sallies has no chance, they are bigger up front but I think Knight can over power that. Sals DBs are pretty good, so if Smyrna can control the ground game with knight and brown, easy win. I think anyway.
Sals gonna have a long ride home tonight.....PERIOD. There line is severely overrated to start with. And they simply do not have the horses.
As for the fans....just a heads up.....Smyrna brought the entire town to the Middletown scrimmage!. I could not believe it....it was a playoff type atmosphere-best scrimmage I have ever seen! If that turns out to be a Title match preview- get your tickets and popcorn ready!

Jawnsky, you are correct. I hope the Slowskys keep it respectable. The O has no explosive players. Last year, there was Ryan, Colby Reeder, Jarome and Cathers......The O line has size but no pop.
The D might keep it from being a 35 point blow out. Can you say "running clock?"
In the DiNardo era there have beat 3 real beat downs of the clones....by Interboro, Malvern and Middletown. Will this be the 4th tonight?
I'm not leaving the the City till 5pm. Not even sure I can make it down to Smyrna by 7 with traffic on a Friday and it not be sold out.
Was thinking about going to HVT vs Glasgow.. congrats to the Glasgow Marching Band on their new band trailer btw.. but my wife and Son are going to CA vs Delmar and they are my ride..
