Wow, already? I guess you thought Top 15 would have been reaching a little too much, huh? Can the kids get the dirt out of their cleats from this season first?I'm not sure who has a lot of returning talent. Could anyone attempt a top 10?
Really Good list1. Woodbridge(Kane Factor)
2. St. Marks(returning a lot)
3. Howard(Flight B loses 2 of their top teams)
4. Delmar (they only lost 3 SRs)
5. Milford(Lose a ton but still have Great RB In #20)
6. Glasgow(lose a ton but still have some weapons back and weak flight b)
7. Friends(lose a lot but very weak Schedule)
8. DMA (Lose a lot but always seem to have a decent year)
9. St. E's (lose a lot, not sure what they have coming back)
10. Lake Forest (only lose a couple key SR's)
YES... HVT St G up AI MP downso who exactly is moving up Hodgson and St Georges ?
Only know about teams in the South, but....
Woodbridge loses a lot on both lines of scrimmage. Plus Riddick and Holden at RB/DB. Those could be big blows, but as someone said they still return Kane (Beast) and their QB comes back.
Delmar loses Adkins at QB who pretty much was their do everything player! Could be a big loss, just because of leadership and experience running that offense. I think they also lose a RB, but they have #34 returning who was a solid RB/LB.
Milford loses a lot on both lines of scrimmage just like Woodbridge. As well as QB and both WR. They do have Bowman and Price coming back, so could be dangerous if they find some blocking up front.
Lake was very young this past year after losing a BUNCH of seniors from 2016. They still lose a few this year, but will be young once again. Not sure they crack the top 10 next year after only winning 2 games.
AI and Mt Pleasant should be competitive D2 squads(if guys dont transfer out due to being dropped to D2)
So the team you think will win the title is not your #1 team??I think they both make the playoffs next year, if the guys that are supposed to come back are indeed back.
I'll take a shot at this, just on first glance of the underclassmen from last year's teams:
1. Woodbridge
2. Howard (early state title favorite)
3. St. Mark's
4. Laurel (Ennis is changing the culture and once he gets more of his players in, look out)
5. Milford
6. Glasgow (provided Wilson returns)
7. Delmar
8. St. E's
9. Mount
10. A.I.
I understand where you are coming from but I view it differently the 2016 champ is the 2016 champ. 2017 all teams return with a clean slate especially in HS with so much turnover year to year..I'm a firm believer in the champion is the champ until someone beats them. Woodbridge is the champ, so they deserve the mythical Christmas holiday #1 spot.
I see Tower hill in the top 10 next year being the best silk panty league team

Ut oh, he didn't put Glasgow in the top 10.
Careful you'll piss off the dragon wagon

Any word on whether their QB moved to smyrna?
Any word on whether their QB moved to smyrna?
No word as of yet. I would think he would want to get there soon. The playbook of Smyrnas isn't something you can just pick up with ease. I would assume he'd transfer by now (if he was) and get in the weight room with the team and participate in their off season program to get on same page with the rest of the players and coaches.
I believe you just have to fill out a waiver form and the DIAA board has to approve you. What are the rules? I thought your couldn't change schools unless a parent lived in the district and you had to sit out from sports like 3 months or something....but my info may be very dated
It's a bit more involved than that Your AD has to request a waiver hearing. At that hearing you have to prove a hardship. If transferring from private to public usually its a financial hardship claim.. If you move residence a hearing is not required AD just sends in the info and DIAA vettes the moveI believe you just have to fill out a waiver form and the DIAA board has to approve you.
There is no way Charter is getting past DMA.Could be a big year for the City....Tower Hill wins the Silk Panty, Howard wins Flight B, and Charter wins the Diamond State.

I don't know, Wilmington Christian can put up quite a fight.Tatnall will win the Independent, Howard will win Flight B, and DMA will win the Diamond State.....as a matter of fact DMA will win it EVERY YEAR
Archmere?Tatnall will win the Independent, Howard will win Flight B, and DMA will win the Diamond State.....as a matter of fact DMA will win it EVERY YEAR
Archmere?
IF? OK, IF Milford JV played Sallies varsity, they would win by 40/ Wanna bet?I wonder if some of the good D1 schools could play their JV teams on Friday nights against some of the Division 2 "powers". I bet Middletowns JV could beat most of the D2 varsity squads
