The top Three LBs in the state are not even rated on any scouting services yet. Can’t wait for this coming year. The names that go to the top will be surprising to most on this board, it’s not who everyone thinks or is promoting. Some underclasmen have matured closed the gap, and vaulted to the top of the scouts list. All are out of Northern Delaware schools. The cream always rises to the top. That’s the beauty of HS football scouting. You can’t pick and choose who you want to promote the tape don’t lie.

SmallWonder.....you mean Keeler? If so, he is definitely a stud!

The top LB is hands down the young man from Smyrna. I think you also have to give some love to another Henlopen kid in Woodbridge’s returning 1st Team All-Stater
Darryl "Debo" Williams, #1 (#2 in title game), Soph for Smyrna. If he stays healthy, he should be playing on weekends for many years to come.

Just like the kid from down in Salisbury MD that no one knew about that has Offers from Maryland Georgia Rutgers And Penn State. No stars class of 2020 will be a 30 offer kid. You guys need to step back an evaluate the talent around instead of trying to promote kids that dont have the body type to hold up. FBS linebackers have freakish speed and strength. The Top rated LB’s We have met and evaluated with just In Pennsylvania Squat 450 plus Bench 330 plus and are running the 40 between 4.5 and 4.7 laser timed. O and they have 4.0 GPA. If they are not in those ranges good luck playing LB at an FBS school. With that being said you guys have two in northern Delaware. Here is a comparison Of what their Film should look like this

pfs, I'm not sure who your message is going out to, but are you implying that Debo Williams (Smyrna) is not FBS material? I'm not in the habit of 'promoting' anyone on either of these forums (football, wrestling, or baseball). Someone mentioned the young LB from Smyrna so I gave the name. And he will be FBS material. I have been around enough big time players (Collegiate and in "The Show", including my nephew) to know that he has the metrics and mentality to compete at the highest level. If you have elevated three upstate players to elite level, good. I have no criteria upon which to doubt your evaluation. Hell, I don't even know who you are referring to. Just because Williams wasn't one of your elites, doesn't mean that he is not talented enough to play FBS or in the NFL. If you objectively evaluate his playing style, size, strength, quickness, and nose for the ball, and still find him deficient, I would be more inclined to question your judgement (or evaluation criteria) instead of his potential. The guy is a monster in the clip but there are guys in FBS that didn't dominate so much in high school. Finding a freak or two doesn't make that the standard for making it. Besides, the LB at Smyrna is a 15 year old, SOPH (no 'redshirt"). He will be a monster in two years. I doubt the guy on your clip is 15 or even close to it.

Never Said anything about Debo Sir however the guy on the clip is one of the top LB in the country. Also your states voting on talented players is border line corrupt. Look at the All USA Football team. You have Wormly second team that’s just nuts and just means zero voters actually watch football. You have a 210 pound Linemen on the first team in his place . You left the Balback kid off both teams for the line. And your states best 2021 prospect is not even on any teams. I have no horse in the race I’m actually talking up your states talent to everyone of my former and current contacts. You have underclassmen leaving the state that you none of you even recognized yet. I appreciate your knowledge and football acumen. Perhaps others should actually pay attention like you. And more kids would get recruited from Delaware because you guys actually have real talent. It just leaves most of the time. HS coaches putting agendas ahead of common sense and their eyes. That’s ok Wesley will continue to win as the kids never have a chance to get out of Delaware because it’s flawed from the top. Real flaws like not answering calls from college coach’s. To many part time coaches. I could go on and on. I was warned how bad it was before spending a lot of time there this past season. But honesty at the LB position Debo is one who potential could he is young as he gets stronger and bigger. Problem is big time programs as you know look for the body types that they deem are indestructible for LB. I’m just telling you that the LBs today at the FBS level coming out of the weight programs in Texas Floridia, California are no joke. And sadly your state is far far behind on that aspect of training for HS football players. Places like Alpha are changing that but it needs to change at the School level because not every kid has the means to go to places like that. Anyway end rant you will be pleasantly surprised over the next 3 years who goes to Bigger programs I’m sure of it. Debo probably will be apart of that, that’s all on him. Im sure he knows. Like I said never said anything about him.

you hit the nail right on the head with these "part time" ass coaches. I coached in DE for a couple of years and hated it because of the talent I seen with some of these kids and thats just up north, didnt see much down below Middletown or Smyrna. But I know there is talent, one of the coaches I coached with didnt want to call a school back because they were calling about a kid they disliked because of his family would talk shit in the stands. I went behind the coaches back and made that phone call. After that I left and couldnt stand coaching anymore because of that nonsense, now I am just a fan of the game and meet the kids through other kids that I have helped and continue to help athletes out. As for Debo, I know the family very well from his uncles to his dad they do nothing but great for the kid, he is at every camp and all. As for Alpha....amazing things what they are trying to do, especially for 7v7 stuff and going to college camps and getting the kids the exposure. Rooting for Jerome and his crew for these kids.
