You DE guys.. especially up in wilmington in DE.. Right outside of Philly... you all love tough guys.. Rocky.. etc..

Nobody tougher then Mike Judy.. I have a story that NOBODY would ever believe... happened in todays society coaches would have lost their jobs.. Nobody tougher then Mike Judy.. there is a reason why his kids are tough.

Most of DE recognize how valuable coach Judy is. They have all season. For me as a Smyrna football parent, it feels uncomfortable having you join the discussion of DE football in the eleventh hour full of Judy-isms. No one has to be convinced. Several post have now taken awkward turns due to your testimonial of how good Mike Judy is or your assertion that talent wins games...both of which are obvious and hasn't been argued against by anyone. IF you are really a fan of Judy, don't poison his name on the forum by using it carelessly. Not trying to be confrontational but you and your comments will come and go. Please don't put a target on his back in your wake.

Not everyone likes Rocky either. Great movie BUT it's a fictional character that some people in South Philly think is real. Rocky never did beat Appollo or the Russian or Mr. T. Those were all actors. I'm the biggest philly fan around but hearing the Rocky theme at all the sporting events is ridiculous. Idolizing a fictional character is stupid.

Chuck Wepner is not fictional though....his scrappy battle vs Ali spawned the 1st Rocky movie....

Billy is actually a Philly dog. He was a "block dog" rescued from a Philadelphia kill shelter. I have pictures of him with Mummers, in Love Park and under City Hall. The Rocky picture is on the steps of the Art Museum where Rocky stood in the movie.

Bummy is a Mummer but very early in parade each year. Don't think he will ever make the fancy's

Bummy loves the Mummers. You got admire marching bands with banjos and accordions.
Bummy could never make the fancy's. Let's be honest; sometimes, you run into Mummers that are quicker, faster, more athletic, more intense, more talented, and stronger than you are.

The national level parade guys (Tournament of Roses & Macey's) might not be impressed but so what. The Delaware Valley stuff is important to us locals.

Bummy, actually feels sorry for the Slowskys. After their horrendous start against the Sals 2 months ago Smyrna was actually dominant. Now, the Slowskys are not going to have their QB in a revenge rematch.

Knight also was amazing against the Slowskys when he ran out of the Wildcat.

Certainly the final I think everyone wanted. Have to hand it to Middletown as well, they played a terrific game. In any event, I hope the players come out safe and sound and enjoy a game they will remember forever.
