I apologize if this was posted somewhere else. I thought it was, but didn't find it so I have a link to a Youtube video about Smyrna football and the town. As a Milford Buc in the late 70's, I know all about disliking Smyrna and their fans. Now, as a parent of four Smyrna Eagles, I see that what was previously viewed as conceit and arrogance is actually more about small town family and pride. That pride is forged by watching the kids grow up and play in the same stadium as their fathers, uncles, and cousins played in. Even when not native to Smyrna, as in our case, kids are readily adopted and embraced. Anyway, here is the link:
