0-0 near end of one.... Dover alternating QB's.. lots of penalties

Dover has nothing but Peace and he is getting keyed on and shut down..

C.J. Henry scores on 2-yard sneak. Hodgson 7, Dover 0 9:40 2Q

Ja’Quai Bishop with a 90-yard punt return for A.I. du Pont. Jacob Jaworski with a 29-yard FG for Friends. AI leads 7-3 end 1Q

30-13 Friends at the half.

Meanwhile Mount is giving Archmere all it can handle. Auks only up 14-10 in the 4th quarter.

Also, went to Charter this morning to get some video practice in and DMA won 43-0. Not sure what it says about DMA's tournament chances, but 6 points is 6 points.

37-13, Friends over AI heading to the 4th.

Archmere gets some breathing room on a long rushing touchdown, leads Mount 20-10 with 8 minutes to go.

Mount is a little better than last year and Archmere had a lot of seniors leave. Not surprised the game was closer than some were calling for. DMA has enough talent to compete in D2. That has never been their problem. Hodgson victory is impressive in week 1. Looking like Hodgson sallies running the show this year. Biggest disappointment has to be Newark. Dropping to D2 and getting blasted by a program like Glasgow. Don’t know Glasgow’s coach but kudos to him for getting the program back on track it seems. Can’t see them as a threat ever again, but being competitive is a victory in itself.

Glasgow was 6-4 two years ago, and went to the tourney the year before that. Given recent history, I think Newark was in far worse shape coming in.
