HS...Do you really believe Woodbridge is going to give up 20 points to Delmar considering they gave up 40 points in 9 games? I'm not to sold on that pick....

Impressive stat, but Woodbridge hasn't exactly played any offensive powerhouses this season.

TS...If you go back to last year Delmar played (what you would call powerhouses) and Woodbridge beat the Wildcats twice in a two week span....

And if you go back 2 years, Delmar put up 28 points on Woodbridge after Woodbridge had only given up 67 points all year.

When it comes to powerhouses look t both schools non-conference games. Delmar played: St. Mary's (MD), Parkside (MD), Queen Anne's (MD), Easton (MD) and Wilmington Friends (DE)...Woodbridge played: Concord (DE),Rock Ridge (VA), Wilmington Friends (DE), Caravel (DE) and Archmere (DE)…

Looking back at both teams non-conference games it seems the only common game that both teams have is playing is Wilmington Friends...Delmar lost to the Quakers at home 19-0 however Woodbridge beat Friends in Wilmington 21-14..you do the math...

I was at the Delmar/Friends game and saw the film of the Woodbridge/Friends game. If Delmar gives up 12 points on special teams/offense and puts the ball on the ground 8 or more times like they did against Friends they will definitely lose. In the end, the Delmar defense only gave up 7 points to Friends while the Woodbridge defense somehow gave up 14.

Be careful basing your predictions on a single data point.

Delmar beat last years MIAA B Champion St Marys at St Marys whom also is ranked 590 spots higher than Delmar and 540 spots higher than Woodbridge currently. St Marys is 2 seed in the MIAA B tournament this year

Speaking of Delmars schedule. At first when I saw they had all those Md teams to start I was thinking dang Delmar is really having a hard time getting Delaware teams to play them.. the other day it hit me.. That might have been strategic and forward thinking on Delmars part..With the new D1 cutt-off dropping to 1045 that put all those 2A bayside teams at D1..Delmar was able to schedule 3 D1 teams that they can beat in their own back yard.. pretty smart IMO
