St. Mark's schedule is solid - a competitive Lake team, consistently good Archmere/DMA/Friends teams. They didn't take the easy way out and schedule two D1 creampuffs like Tower.

There may be two coming out of the Diamond State this year. With the CSW giving the six points, getting 2 bonus for 6 and 7 wins, and Woodbridge situation I can see DMA and Archmere qualifying this year.

Having St. Mark's as a common opponent on their schedules definitely makes that interesting. Assuming Howard and Delmar take care of their business in conference, that would be a fun Final Four, regardless of matchup.

If CR can beat Delmar, a big IF, this weekend, they could possibly be the 4th team in D1. Its been a few years since they have been in the playoffs. It would be nice to see them back in the picture.

That's a big ask, especially since Delmar's had a week off and treated Seaford like a scrimmage (SEAFORD?! A SCRIMMAGE?! SHEESH). If CR can pull it off, the only roadblocks left would be Smyrna and Dover.

Conversely if Delmar beats CR, that pretty much assures them a semifinal home game and maybe the top seed.

TH already has 12pts in the bank plus another 8 if they win the 2 vs Friends.. even if they lose to St Marks they would have a 4.2 index (that's more than a 4.0 of an undefeated 7 win team vs all D2's) that could put them in . If they beat St M then they would definitely get in with a 4.8..

That may very well happen, but a few years ago the Hillers upset top seed AI in the first round. It is true, however, that Tower's schedule is softer than a roll of Charmin.

It's hard to beat a team twice in a season. If TH loses to friends once and St Marks, they would only have a 4.0 or 4.2 index (with a bonus point form St Marks), which would still probably get them in.

If they lose one to Friends and to St M they would only have 6+6+4+0+0= 16 by 5 is 3.2 if they get a bonus from St M it would be 17 by 5 for 3.4

No one can lose two and get in this year...well unless they get a autobid.. Delmar can lose the two OOC (Milford and CR) games and still win the conference for an autobid.. No DSC, Indy or NonC teams can lose two games and get in..

But seriously, Lake has played two games, which admittedly they lost, but both games were close. Woodbridge hasn't played a game and is breaking in a new QB this year. Can Woodbridge win? Of course, but if they do win, I don't think it will be a dominating running clock win.
