Archmere 9 Newark Charter School 4 Cam Leighton led the NC Patirots with 2 hits and a run scored. The Auks offense was led by Michael Malllamaci who had 2 hits and 5 RBIs. Danny Storrm and Andrew MacWilliams also contributed two hits while Matt Keen did his part with a long double.

Indian River 19 Sussex Academy 2 Frank Bunting was 2-3 with a single, a home run, 5 RBIs and 2 runs scored.

Milford 14 Smyrna 8
Aydin Zimmerman earned the win in allowing 1 hit over the final 3 innings to lead Milford to a come from behind win over Smyrna. Zimmerman added 3 hits and 4 rbi. Shawn Saxon had 3 hits, Mason Morris scored 4 runs and drove in 3. James Stangl added 2 hits and 2 rbi, while Alex Mergner added 3 rbi.
For Smyrna, Jacob Macey, Shawn Mannering, and Sean Keener each had 2 hits. Mannering had 2 rbi and Mason Drummond added a 2 run double.

Caravel 11 William Penn 6 Caravel came all the way back from being down 5-0 to win the game. AJ Nardo's squeeze bunt scored two runs to put the Bucs ahead for good in the bottom of the 6th inning. Ryan Lester pitched 4 2/3 strong innings of relief to earn the win. Beau Cox led the offense with 2 hits, 2 walks and an rbi. Kaden Bredickas and Lester also added a hit, 2 runs scored and 3 walks each. Marc Cathcart led the Colonial offense with 2 hits and 2 rbi. Hassan Turner also had a hit and rbi.

Sussex Central 12 Polytech 2 Chase Boyle led the Knights to victory at the plate going 4-4, 2 triples and 4 rbis. Cole Rogers picked up his first Varsity win throwing 3.2 innings allowing just 2 runs on 6 hits. Freshman Noah Burroughs pitched the final 1 1/3 innings striking out two. Connor Bartlett went 3-3 for Polytech.

Cape Henlopen 7 Caesar Rodney 2 Hunter Rauch led the Vikings offense going 2 for 3 with a walk, 3 runs scored, and an RBI. Gage Joseph had a timely single to drive in 2 runs in the 5th. Ty Husbands and Timmy Hitchcock combined to throw a 3-hitter for Cape. Jacob Armstrong had a good day at the plate with 2 of the 3 hits for CR.

Lake Forest 10 Seaford 0 Tristan McCray threw a no-hitter striking out 10. Adam Schiff lead the offense with 2 hits including a double and 3 rbi’s. Gabe Martin, Quade Gannon, and Cody Klotz each added hits for the Spartans.

Delaware Military Academy 17 Red Lion 0 DMA- Patrick Crawford had 11Ks earning his first win of the season. Mason McCloskey, Kevin Williams, and Tyler August all had two hits apiece. August and Williams combined for 7 RBIs. RLCA Gavin Shields had a single for Lions.

Delmar 12 Woodbridge 1 Chase Collis grand slam in 4th. Doubles by Luke Waters and Andrew Calloway. Combined 1 hitter by Delmar pitchers

Sussex Tech 4 Dover 0 Sussex Tech was led by Alex Adams (2-2 with 2 runs scored), Jaryn Sample (1-2 with 1RBI) and Jonathan Stokley (1 hit and 1RBI). Adams also pitched a shut out for the Ravens, scattering 7 hits and striking out 3 batters. Dover's Hunter Chambers allowed 2 earned runs on 3 hits while striking out 6 Tech batters in his 4 innings of work. Dovers Brandon Yoder and Austin Tuner each had 2 hits each.

3-27-21 Games

Cape Henlopen 8 Laurel 0 Josh Reinhold, Hunter Rauch, Nick Cox, and Matt Newcomb each had 2 hits to lead the Vikings offense. Newcomb and Cox each had 2 RBI's as well. The Viking pitchers combined for a one-hitter. Jaden Snyder had the lone hit for Laurel.

Smyrna 10 Mt Pleasant 0
Smyrna Eagles Varsity defeated Mount Pleasant 10-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Freshman Nate Donahue pick up the win on his debut. Donahue threw 4 innings, scattering 3 hits w/ 4 strike outs. Caden Daniels relieved Donahue in the 5th allowed no hits w/ 2 strikeouts.
Smyrna Offensivley: Logan Unterreiner went 1-3 (2B) w/ 2 RBI's. Dalton Leager 1-2 w/ 2 RBI's, Connor Ryan 1-2 w/ 1 RBI.

Mount Pleasant: Burr was 2-2 w/ double

Sanford 5 MOT Charter 2 Dylan Smallwood had 2 hits and 2 RBI for Sanford. Brady Bollman came on in relief in the fifth. He pitched two and a third shut-out innings and struck out 4 for the win for the Warriors. Ian Keane had two hits for MOT.

Salesianum 10 St. Elizabeth 0 Brian Lang and Deuce Rzucidlo both went 2 for 3 with an RBI for Salesianum. Salesianum starting pitcher, Brody Valentine, pitched 4 scoreless innings allowing just 2 hits. Valentine and Rzucidlo pitched a combined shutout. Jaden Dickerson went 2 for 3 for St. Elizabeth's.
