I know most of you enjoy following our Delaware players as they move on to the next level. Dante is from Delmar and just finished his true freshman season for the University of Maryland Terps football team. He played safety in 12 games making 14 solo tackles and had 2 assists. He was also named the most Outstanding Freshman special teams player. As a two sport recruit, Dante now picks up the lacrosse stick for Terps. He will be playing midfielder, and has been ranked the 5th best lax recruit in the nation. Good luck young man, you are making Delaware proud!

Dante is a beast. I remember thinking - hes probably just a great athlete and not really a good lacrosse player.

Looking to build on the early success on the football field, McDonogh grad Dante Trader Jr. plans to keep his focus there and won’t play lacrosse for the Terps this spring.
