Whose the thursday team that can make a deep run? Any of the top 8 looking at a problem 2nd round?
I would predict these upsets:
Sallies over Sanford
St George's over Sussex Tech
Concord over Caravel could potentially happen again, all based on pitching. I could see Central beating Penn.
yeah, caravel will have a choice to make with their #1; Cape looms the next round, not sure if you can beat them without him. But every year teams flame out early holding their ace for a game they never play
Could TH beat Lake without Coyne in 1st round? If so, that may give Cape a problem.
If Tower Hill can make it to Saturday with Coyne available, they'll be a tough game for Cape.
Penn doesn't have that shutdown ace, and SC can swing it. That 2nd round match up should be exciting.
Appo had a down year but if they can make Fleming available for Saturday then that'll be a great battle with St Marks. Problem is they might not beat Archmere.

Though Sals over Sanford would be an upset based on seeding only. Sals are vastly superior to Warriors on paper.
Yeah he could be a problem for Sallies. I just don’t know if they can score. I also doubt TH holds Coyne for round 2. Tried that last year vs Laurel and got beat.
