4-2-22: Indian River 9 Delmarva Christian 0 Chance Hocker threw 5 scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts and only surrending one hit. Indian River scored 9 runs off of 6 hits and 6 BBs. Frank Bunting was 2-3 on the day with an RBI and run scored.

AI DuPont 17 First State Military Academy 3 Anthony Ferrera gave up 1 hit over 3 1/3 innings to pick up the victory for A.I. over FSMA. Jermaine Miller and Julius Ramos did the damage at the plate for the Tigers driving in 4 rbi and 2 rbi respectively. Steven Bright connected for a double for First State Military Academy.

Salesianum 8 Delmar 7 12 innings Salesianum starting pitcher, Cory Sheridan pitched 5 innings allowing only 1 run. Salesianum relief pitcher, Jack Rossi, and Delmar relief pitcher, Danny Holston each allowed no runs in the 9th, 10th and 11th innings to keep the game knotted at 7-7. Rossi went on to earn the win as a result of holding the Wildcats scoreless in the 12th. Ryan James went 2 for 5 at the plate with a double, 3 RBIs, and a run scored for Salesianum. Andrew Callaway went 3 for 6 at the plate with two doubles, 3 RBIs, and a run scored for Delmar.

Tatnall 4 St. Elizabeth 2 Tatnall jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first capped off with Logan Travers' 2 run. single. Andrew Scott made it stand up with a complete game performance, striking out 8 and led the Hornets offensively with 3 hits. Tre Marcoz provided the final margin of victory with a well executed squeeze bunt in the top of the 7th. James Garrett, Matthew Trout, and Ryan McCormac each contributed 2 hits for St. Elizabeth's

Polytech 9 Charter 3 Ocean Johnson led the panthers on the mound for the win. Braden Moran and Conner Watkins led the panthers offensively with two hits a piece. Kevin Callahan had three hits for charter.

Archbishop Spaulding 6 Cape Henlopen 3 Tyler Smith hit a 2 run double to open the scoring. He was followed by an RBI double by Kyle Garrett. Caleb Estes was 1 for 1 with 3 walks and 2 runs scored. Cape was lead by Austin Rhue and Nick Cox. Rhue went 2 for 3 with a double and a run scored while Cox was also 2 for 3 with a run scored.

Red Lion 20 Dickinson 4 Josh Stull drove in 5 runs and Riley Burroughs went 2 for 2 with a double, triple and 2 sac flies to lead Red Lion on offense. Dom Liguori hit 2 doubles to help him get the win with 5 strikeouts in 2 inning on the mound. For Dickinson, Jense Javier Diaz, Alex Perez Luyando and Riley Suth each had an RBI.

Newark 12 Odessa 2 Newark Yellowjackets collected 12 hits on the day. Joshua Porrini, Gavin Smith, Duncan Pike, and Austin Calabrese each collected multiple hits for Newark. Mackenzie Keating had a double for the Ducks.

Wilmington Friends 5 Brandywine 4 Nathaniel Huxtable walked off the win for the Quakers with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the eighth. Corey Silberglied homered and pitched four strong innings as the starter for the Quakers. Huxtable and Silberglied each notched two hits apiece. Ryan Tattersall threw three inings in relief and Adin Shweiki earned the win with his 8th inning relief appearance. Shweiki and Avery Gaines also recorded hits for the Quakers. The Brandywine Bulldogs were led by starting pitcher Matt McGill and reliever Aidan Kee who combined for nine six strikeouts; McGill with six and Kee with three. Brandon Gamble, Vince Mazzatto, and McGill each had a hit and an RBI for the Bulldogs.

Appoquinimink 13 Mt. Pleasant 1 Chase Fleming earned his first win of the season going 4 innings, allowing 2 hits on 7 strikeouts. Owen Parrish, Evan Bouldin, and Chase Fleming each had 3 hits for Appo. Hunter Hitchens and Wyatt Uhde both added 2 hits for the Jags. James Simmons had 2 hits for the Green Knights.

St. Marks 13 Hodgson 1 :The Spartans offense was lead by James Baffone, who had 3 hits including a double. Michael Clarke, Tyler Satterfield and Kyle Reader also has 2 hits apiece for the Spartans. Jack Burns pitched 4 strong innings, allowing only 2 hits, while striking out 5.

Sussex Tech 18 Delmarva Christian 1
Stockley, Allen, Ruark, and Sample all collected multiple hits for Sussex Tech. Stockley led Sussex Tech with three hits in four at bats and Sample connected for an opposite field homer. Breasure hit a solo Homerun scoring the only run for DC on the day, one of his two hits on the day. Zane Adams (ST) struck out 4 and gave up only one hit through three innings of work.
Milford 10 Laurel 7
Shawn Saxon scattered 3 hits in 5 innings of work for the win. Saxon had 2 hits including a double along with 2 rbi. Evan Gregg had 3 hits for Milford. Aydin Zimmerman had a home run and a double along with 2 rbi. Nick Hurd and Ryan Mejia each had 2 hits and 2 rbi.
Brady Lee, Royce Scotton, and Kaden Shockley each had 2 hits for the Bulldogs. Scotton, Shockley, and Ryan Jones each had 2 rbi.
Sussex Academy 12 Polytech 6
Poly Tech rallied for 6 runs in the sixth inning to take a 6-4 lead over the Seahawks.
Sussex Academy came back with 8 in the bottom of the 6th to secure the win.
Poly Tech had two hits Conner Bartlett and Ryan Zimmerman.
Douglas Horton and Wyatt Skinner had 3 hits each for Academy.Skinner added 4 rbi to the comeback.
Freshman Patrick Donahue earned his first win.

Indian River 8 Dover 3
Indian River totaled ten hits. Vincent Kreiser and Roman Keith all managed multiple hits. Ben Cordrey had 3 RBIs, 2 of them coming with a big single in the bottom of the 6th. Colby Willey homered in the 6th.
Frank Bunting had a strong outing on the mound going 4 innings, striking out 7 and only giving up 2 hits and one run.

Lake Forest 14 St. Andrews 1 Chase Killen lead the Spartans offense today going 3-3 including 2 triples and 3 RBI's. 11 different Spartan hitters had hits on the day while William Noell and Tristan McCray each had 2 RBI's. McCray also picked up the win on the mound striking out 4. Chris Butner and Jeonguk Kye had hits for St. Andrew's.

Conrad 15 Concord 4 Brett Walmsley was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Friday, driving in five on three hits to lead the Conrad Red Wolves past Concord High 15-4 on Friday.Conrad tallied 13 hits in the game. Patrick Blanch, Walmsely, and Schurga each managed multiple hits for Conrad. Walmsely and Blanch each collected three hits to lead Conrad. Adam Ferguson went two and two-thirds innings, . Charles Lynch and Jeremy Fischer entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and one-third innings and one inning respectively.

Newark Charter 13 William Penn 7
The Patriot offense was led by Jaxon Grant, Hunter Harach, Chase Huebner, Eddie Klima, Cam Leighton and Jordan Neifeld all who collected multi hits. Harach, Leighton and Neitfeld drove in 3 runs a piece. Matt Bennighoff recorded the win going 4 innings allowing 2 earned runs.
William Penn was led by Hunter Wilson, Hassan Turner, Michael Lane and John Grybowski who collected multi hits with Brandon Grygo driving in 2 runs also.
