Wilmington Friends 8 Sanford 7 Osi Chukwuocha drove in two runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game at seven leading the way for Nathaniel Huxtable to record his second walk-off hit of the season to win it for the Quakers. Avery Gaines and Corey Silberglied each doubled with Gaines driving in two runs on his. Adin Shweiki added two hits to his six-inning pitching performance as the Friends starter. Andrew Huff and Ryan Tattersall also recorded hits for the Quakers. Brady Fox, the Warriors starter, struck out 11 Quakers in four and two-thirds innings of work. Sanford's bats came alive in the fifth, sixth, and seventh innings to come from behind, tie the game, and take a two run lead heading into the bottom of the seventh.
