Smyrna 3 Woodbridge 2
Smyrna's Liam Mcginness took the mound today vs Woodbridge. In the top of first, Woodbridge jumped out to a 2-0 lead thanks to Lextyn Wescott singled to centerfield platings 2 RBI's.
Woodbridge's Seth Smart dominated on the mound taking a no-hitter into the bottom of the 4th. Smyrna's Derek Davis broke up the no-hitter with a line drive to left field.
In the bottom of the 5th, Connor Wilson started the scoring with a single up the middle and Derek Davis hit gap double knocking in 2 runs.
Smyrna's Liam Mcginness dominated the next 5 innings , surrending 3 hits and striking out 9.
Woodbridge Seth Smart threw 6 strong innings scattering 6 hits and striking out 3.

Smyrna's Derek Davis and Junior Durnall had multi-hit game.

St. Marks 8 William Penn 1 Kyle Reader and Zach Frame lead the offense with three hits apiece. Garrett Quinn pitched 5 solid innings not allowing a hit. Hassan Turner hit solo home run for Colonials.

Delaware Military Academy 5 St. Georges 1 DMA- Peyton Brannock improved to 2-0 hurling 5 innings allowing one hit while striking out 9 batters. Drew Simpson had 3 hits at the plate driving in 3 runs. SGHS- Joseph McDermott and James Breen both had a hit for the Hawks.

Polytech 12 Delmarva Christian 1
Ocean Johnson toed the rubber for Polytech. The righthander threw four and two-thirds innings, allowing six hits and one run while striking out seven.

Chase Hitchens went four innings, allowing four runs on five hits and striking out three. Cody Bennett, Chet Furmanek, Tommy Obertubbesing, Carter Breasure, Kasey Bell, and Dylan Briggs each collected one hit with Furmanek lacing a double.

Polytech tallied 12 hits on the day. Bartlett, Alex Newman, Carney, and Brett Shelton all managed multiple hits for Polytech. Bartlett went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Polytech in hits.

Cape Henlopen 8 Indian River 7 In a 9 inning nail biter, Timmy Hitchcock drove a ball down the 3rd base line to score Luke Crouch from 2nd to give the Vikings the walk-off victory. Crouch drove a double into the gap to score Paris Mitchell the play before to tie the game in the bottom of the 9th. Hitchcock went 5 innings on the mound allowing 1 earned run and went 3 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored to lead the Vikings. Brenn Scott was 4 for 5 with 3 RBI's and Josh Reinhold added a double and 3 RBI's to help Cape earn the win. Indian River was led at the plate by Ben Cordrey going 4 for 5 with a homerun and 4 RBI's. Cordrey also played stellar defence at shortstop. Jace Jarmon was 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored for IR.

Sussex Central 13 Sussex Academy 3
The knights offense was led by Jarrett Wilkins, Noah Burroughs , and AJ Cannon who all tallied two hits. Burroughs and Wilkins both homered for the Knights as well. Chet Mariner threw 4 innings allowing 2 runs on 3 hits for the win.
Delmar 6 Sussex Tech 0
Sussex Tech fell to Delmar 6-0. Callaway pitched 6-2/3 strong innings for Delmar giving up no runs on 2 hits while striking out eight. Callaway was also 2-4 at the plate with 2 doubles and 1RBI. Delmar was also led offensively by Kyler Shepherd going 4-4 with 1RBI and Bryce Hendricks 1-2 with 1RBI.
Grant Allen and Rosnell Lewis each had a hit for the Ravens.
