William Penn 5 Charter 3 Madelyn Pritchard drove in two runs in the first with a base hit and Sam Thompson added an RBI hit to put Penn up 3 in the top of the first. Charter answered with hits by Jaida Church and Marlayna Capaldi who both scored on an error in the bottom half. Jadyn Davis scored for Penn in the second on a sac fly by Pritchard. Rachel Haight scored on an error in the sixth for Penn's fifth run. Natalie Nycz scored on a delayed steal to finish the scoring for Charter. For William Penn, Pritchard earned the win in the circle going all 7 innings, allowing 3 unearned runs on 4 hits while striking out 9. Paige Colburn went 4 innings allowing 4 runs (1 unearned) on 6 hits and struck out 2. Katie Hoban allowed 1 unearned run on 1 hit and struck out 4 in 3 innings of relief for Charter. |
