Howard advanced to the semifinals with a solid performance on both offense and defense. RJ Matthews rushed for 45yds and 4 TD's to lead the Wildcats. Jamal Johnson, Robert Kelly, and Dreshawn Anderson all made clutch catches throughout the game. The OL was stellar in allowing the Wildcats to rush for 202yds on 29 attempts.

Ryan Tattersall had 24 rushing yards on 5 carries, had 2 receptions for 39 yards, and went 8/15 for 81 passing yards, throwing for 2 TDs. Andrew McKenzie went 4/4 for 62 passing yards, had 5 receptions for 44 yards, receiving for a TD, and had 127 rushing yards on 24 carries, rushing for 2 TDs. Jason Hughes had 3 rushing yards on 1 carry and had 3 receptions for 36 yards, receiving for a TD. Kato Connor went 2/2 on PATs. Tyler Maheshwari 11 tackles (5 solo) and a fumble recovery. Myles Johnson had 10 tackles (3 solo). Both Drew Huneycutt and Antonios Tangalidis had 6 tackles.

The Tatnall Hornets set a new school record for wins in a single season (10), rushing to a resounding 53-0 victory over visiting First State Military Academy.

Offensively, the Swarm erupted for their highest yardage output of the season (503) on the backs of Rahshan LaMons (6 carries, 204 yards, 3 touchdowns) and RJ Moore (4 carries, 102 yards, 1 touchdown). Micah Stamper also contributed a pair of rushes for 50 yards and a touchdown. Through the air, LaMons spun a perfect 4-for-4 passing for 125 yards with three touchdown strikes. Jayden Minor caught two passes for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jude Maycole caught a 13-yard touchdown pass and Chris Gordon moved the chains on a third-down, 14-yard reception in the second quarter.

Defensively, the Hornets had a trio of defenders total double-digit tackles. Jayden Minor (10 tackles, 0.5 TFL), Justin Smith (12 tackles, 2.0 TFL), and Josh Boothe (10 tackles, 1.5 TFL) set the tone in the trenches. Jack Homer (8 tackles, 1.5 TFL, 1 pass deflection) and Gino Greer (4 tackles, 1 interception) also stepped up to preserve the Hornets' shutout in the second half.

On special teams, kicker Spenser Neidig converted on 5-of-7 extra point attempts. CJ Bowen and Danny Henley both notched a pair of tackles on kickoff coverage and Billy Lang and Gino Greer combined to recover an expertly placed pooch kick in the first quarter.

Sussex Central 28 Appoquinimink 7 Will Harmon scored 2 touchdown runs of 3 and 4 yards and caught an and caught an 11 yard pass from Gabe Cannon.
