Laurel 14 Woodbridge 0 Payton Keeler and Harley Short both collected hits for Woodbridge. The Ullman girls both had three hits each for Laurel.

Appoquinimink 8 Padua 5 Appoquinimink took an early lead but Padua answered with 5 runs of there own. The Jaguars battled back to tie the score at 5 going into the 6th. They took the lead on an RBI single by Shannon Rosche and were able to add on 2 more insurance runs in the 6th for the 8 to 5 win. Kylie Taylor had 2 hits to lead APPO, while Lauren Schurman had a multi hit day for Padua.

Sussex Academy 17 Early College High School at DSU 0 The seahawks had 12 hits including a home run by rachel carey miranda mcilvaine lily hutt and sophie noon had twelve strike outs and allowed 1 hit

Smyrna 1 Dover 0 Payton Dixon struck out 12, allowing only one hit. Makayla Brantley and Taylor Lipkins procuded hits for Smyrna, while Chelsea Johnson had a hit for Dover.

St. Elizabeth 8 Hodgson 2 : H Steenkamer & E Donohue both went 3 for 4 for the VIkings. A White & A Lee both went 2 for 3 for Hodgson. S Gallucio allowed 5 hits & 2 runs while striking out six.

St. Marks 14 Brandywine 0 St. Marks won it's 6th straight game as Ryleigh Thomas was perfect on the mound striking out all 15 hitters she faced. Offensively, Thomas also led the charge with a homer, two triples and 3 rbi. Amanda Oller added 2 hits and 2 rbi. Pia Perrone tripled and scored 3 times. Peyton Crone, Morgan Hall, Sophia Wenger, Emma Fauerbach and Olivia Datilio also had hits. The Spartans improved to 8-1

Polytech 14 Milford 10 Mara Everton hit her first home run to give Polytech the lead in the Top of the 6th inning. Karis Minner lead the way with 3 hits, Everton, Kyla Davis, & Jumaria Sample all recorded 2 hits for Polytech. Rayla Burris lead Milford going 2-4 with 2 RBI.

Mt. Pleasant 6 Archmere 1
Teagan Bradley had 8 strikeouts while only allowing 2 hits- she added a double and RBI at the plate. Julia Levase started a 5 run, 4th inning with a triple and Kyra Kafel added 2 RBIs. Briana Snover went 3-4 with a double, triple, and 2 runs scored.

Archmere's Victoria Conner had 10 strikeouts for the Auks. Kaitlin Lotkowski had 2 hits with an RBI.

Newark 24 Dickinson 21
Newark and Dickinson played thier second game in a week to finish off the home and away series, and both team played hard all game long. Each team fighting back and forth in the middle innings to each take the lead before Newark 8 run 6th inning helped seal the win. The Rams rallied again in the top of the 7th with two outs, but came up 3 runs short.

Dickinson was led by Madison Moore who hit an inside-the-park home run in the top of the 7th, she also scored six runs and drove in three runs. Tamera Williams had three hits and a triple in the sixth inning and drove in three runs as well. Sophia Rawlins-Cronin played an excellent game in the field, had three hits, and scored four runs. Caitlin Hochman had three hits and scored four runs as well for the Rams.

Yellowjacket pitcher Corrine Butz went the distance and fought through some injuries in collecting her second win over the Rams in a week. She struck out eight Rams and recorded nine outs in the field from her position. Brooke Wilfong was solid behind the plate for Newark and had two hits and four RBI's. Natalia Rivera had a couple of clutch two out hits and drove in four runs as well. Fourteen of the Fifteen girls for Newark crossed the plate in a total team effort. Corrine Butz, Olivia Rivera and Brooke Wilfong each crossed the plate three times. Camille Washington also had two hits, and showed her strength after getting hit in the face with a bad bounce hard grounder early in the game. She stayed in the game and turned in a fine play defensively at the end of the game to help seal the win.

Newark goes to 2-3 on the season.

Delmarva Christian 12 Holly Grove 1
Lilli Showacre gave the Royals 5 strong innings in the circle allowing 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 8. Offensively, she led the way with a double, grand slam and 6 RBI. Erin Parker had 3 hits, while Kandice Schlabach, Lily Fetterman and Lydia Woods had 2 hits each for the Royals.

Olivia Tullous had 2 hits and Harley McNure and Madison Powell had one hit each for Holly Grove.

Sussex Tech 10 Caesar Rodney 6

Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity lost despite out-hitting Sussex Tech 13 to 11.
In the first inning, Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity got their offense started. Peyton Shields homered on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
Sussex Tech knotted the game up at five in the top of the third inning. Brynn Parker drove in one when Parker singled.
Sussex Tech pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Kylie Kruger singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
Sussex Tech scored five runs in the third inning. The big inning for Sussex Tech came thanks to a triple by Megan Sterling, a single by Parker, and an error on a ball put in play by Laniya Lewis.
Kruger earned the victory on the rubber for Sussex Tech. Kruger went six and two-thirds innings, allowing one run on nine hits and striking out three. Kruger recorded the last 20 outs to earn the save for Sussex Tech.
Shields took the loss for Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity. Shields surrendered ten runs on 11 hits over seven innings, striking out ten.
Parker started the game for Sussex Tech. The fireballer went one-third of an inning, allowing five runs on four hits and walking zero
Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity hit two home runs on the day. Shields went deep in the first inning. Ashlyn Schmidt went for the long ball in the fifth inning.
Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity racked up 13 hits in the game. Riley Elledge, Shields, Kaitlyn Horton, Schmidt, and Stacey Deputy all collected multiple hits for Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity. Deputy, Schmidt, Horton, Shields, and Elledge each collected two hits to lead Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity.
Sussex Tech collected 11 hits on the day. Sterling, Kayla Evans, and Kruger each collected multiple hits for Sussex Tech.


Caravel Academy 9 Newark Charter 5
Browne, Moxley, and Holdsworth had multiple hits and Veronica Diomede hit a homerun for Caravel Academy.

Sobocinski, Trala and Trala,S. had multiple hits and Hailee Trala hit a homerun for Newark Charter.

Concord 4 William Penn 3
McKenzie Camp earned the win for Concord pitching a complete game. Concord's offense was led by Casey Best who went 3 for 3 with 2 RBI's including a solo homerun and knocking in the winning run at the bottom of the 7th. McKenzie Camp went 3 for 4 which included a triple and scoring 2 runs and Rachel Waslyn went 2 for 3 with an RBI. MacKenzie Weinkowitz had a hit in the 7th and went on to score the winning run.

William Penn's Sabrie Purnell went 2 for 3 with a double and Carly Gilbert had a 2 run single to tie the game in the 6th. Madelyn Pritchard recorded 10 strikeouts.

Sussex Central 10 Cape Henlopen 0 Madge Layfield struck out 12 in the no hitter. Central had 10 hits from Messina (2) , Davis (1), Evick (2), Jones (3), Layfield (2)
