St. Elizabeth 16 Brandywine 4 H Rambo, J Bozzo & E Donohue each had 3 hits for St E. B Ainsworth led St E with 3 rbi's. M Leary had 3 hits and A Draper had a double and a triple for Bwine.

Archmere 14 Hodgson 4 Tori Conner struck out 10 batters to help earn her 5th win. Conner also drove in 4 runs and scored 4 runs. Katie Schaller went 4 for 4 with 3 RBI's. Kelsey Joyce went 3 for 3 and scored 3 runs. Kaitlin Lotkowski and Gabby Marano each had multi-hit days for the Auks as well.

For Hodgson, Aleigha Saunders, Alyssa White, and Jocelyn Yancey each had 2 hits

Dover 3 Mt. Pleasant 1 L. Dowdy pitched all 7 innings with 11K giving up 3 hits, E. Crowe went 3-3 with two doubles, A. Gigliotti had triple for Dover, T. Bradley pitched all seven innings with 9 K giving up 8 hits B. Snover went 2-3 scoring run for Mt. Pleasant off of J. Lavase single.

St. Marks 4 Delcastle 2 Emma Fauerbach struck out 13 and picked up her first varsity win. Katie Lynch had 2 rbi and Pia Perrone added 2 hits for the Spartans. Britney Howell was 3 for 3 at the plate for Delcastle.

Newark 16 First State Military Academy 11 First State Military Academy and Newark Yellowjackets played through the elements and a nearby storm for four innings before the sun came out. Unfortunately the umpires called the game in the bottom of the fifth inning due to safety.

Both teams after a 8-8 first inning score in the heavier rain settled in and played an excellent defensive game over the next four innings. Defensive highlights by both teams were turned in by First State Military Academy Avori Alexander, Ivy Patten, and Paige Holowka, and for the Yellowjackets by Olivia Rivera, Maude Devlin, and Mei Tobin.

First State Pitchers Brianna Connelly and Elizabeth Phelps only yielded two hits and Newark Pitcher Corrine Butz only gave up five hits for the game.

Offensive Stars for the First State Military Academy was leadoff batter Paige Holowka who had one hit and scored three times and Savannah Adkins had two hits and drove in two runs. Elizabeth Phellps and Ivy Patten each scored twice. Shelby Heinold and Brianna Connelly each had a hit and scored a run.

The Yellowjackets had a big base extra base hit by Camille Washington as she drove in two runs and gave Newark the lead in the third inning. Camille also drove in three runs on the day for Newark. Mei Tobin and Corrine Butz each scored three times and Olivia Rivera, Brooke Wilfong, Maudee Devlin, and Natalie Rivera each scored twice. Brooke Wilfong had the other hit on the day and drove in one, and had an excellent day behind the plate throwing out a base runner at second and third base.

Both teams showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the game and complimented each other on each others good hits and great defensive plays.

Middletown 6 Appoquinimink 2 Middletown's offense started in the 2nd inning with Jenna Donovan's solo Home Run. Followed by RBI hits from Reese Founds, Donovan and Kaylee Stenvik in the 4th inning. Paige McGonigal, Founds and Donovan each had multiple hits for the day. Jillian Dawson hit a triple for Appo.
