Was a great catch!! With a little bit of a luck a nice hop to the catcher and they could have completed a double play at the plate.

No amount of luck would have completed a double play —— after the catch, it’s a dead ball. No doubt it was an awesome catch though!!!

I understand it was a dead ball. But figuring the umpires didn’t blow the play dead and award the runner on 3rd the free base that he prob would have called her out. Then it should have got over turned to the correct call but it would have been cool to see. I’ve seen worse calls this season. Thanks
