His last Caravel Academy team didn’t make the DIAA Tournament Division II finals after a 21-20 semifinal loss at Woodbridge. Then the 2020 DFRC Blue-Gold All-Star Game was canceled his senior year due to COVID-19.

On top of that, the University of Delaware football program didn’t offer him a scholarship."
