CR (0-2) at Appo (0-1)

CR has been outscored 72-7 in 2 games so far this season and Appo played a very good St. Mark's team tough. Another rough night for CR.

Appo 28 CR 7

Smyrna (1-0) at Middletown (0-1)

Smyrna struggled on offense last week only scoring 14 points vs Arundel. The good news was that their defense pitched a shutout in a 14-0 victory. Middletown had a week off to recover from the St. John's loss and they should be well prepared for this one.

Middletown 28 Smyrna 20

St. Mark's (2-0) at Woodbridge (0-1)

St. Mark's has the size and overall talent to compete with most anyone. Woodbridge got off to a horrible start last week at Cape Henlopen falling behind 35-0 at the half. I expect a much better effort from Woodbridge but it won't be enough.

St. Mark's 34 Woodbridge 14

St. George's (1-0) at Dover (1-1)

No clue where to go on this game. Dover beat Hodgson easily and played tough vs. Arundel. St. George's beat a struggling CR squad. Going with Dover in a close one.

Dover 26 St. George's 24

Cape Henlopen (1-1) at William Penn (1-1)

Cape Junior RB Maurki James has been the real deal so far this season. He has 293 yards rushing and 174 yards receiving with 5 TD in just 2 games. William Penn had a nice bounce back win last week at Penn Wood (PA). I think Cape is better than anyone thought but until I see them close out a game vs. 3A opponents I'm still skeptical. Colonials in a close one.

William Penn 27 Cape Henlopen 26

Hodgson (1-1) at Sussex Central (2-0)

Sussex Central behind a really good defense should handle Hodgson. SC then has 2 weeks to prepare for their showdown at Smyrna.

Sussex Central 30 Hodgson 13

Last week 4-0
Season 9-1
Best pick last week: SC 21 Sallies 14 (had margin of victory correct)
worst pick: Had Smyrna scoring 46 pts (they scored 14)
