Heard there was. Actually hope it’s not true but heard some one got shot. My kids just showed me a video of some one being attended to by paramedics - could be anything though to be honest.
Confirmed a girl got shot in the leg. She was from Middletown. A man got shot in the foot as collateral damage.
There was a fight about 50 kids and then one shot the other one.
sort of a mess there tonight they shut the parking lot and stopped selling tickets at the door So there was a large crowd of kids were wondering around out front which is never good. I was there and couldn’t get in because they cut off tickets about an hour before game hit figured could buy at the door but no go. I left but that happened to like 200 kids and they stayed right out front.
So it’s true and a ****ing mess.

Don't think it will be the end of FNL quite just yet but my guess is it will trigger some immediate rules changes. Something like no gatherings of any kind in the lot or on campus pre during and post game. No ticket sales at the gate All tickets must be pre purchased. Anyone showing up on the lot or campus that doesn't have a ticket must leave.
Shame too but tailgating for a HS game will be be the collateral damage and be a thing of the past. At least for awhile

FNL used to be the hight of playing for schools that had lights, few issues would and have occurred, but now they taking it to an all time high level, shooting at games? Middletown and Smyrna always have big,big crowds and never had an issue! These kids know each other from elementary school , play all the sports together AND soon as they split and go to high school , the nonsense starts. Sad situation
So as I guessed some of the info I got was wrong - kids and their damn rumors. But it was a 16 year old boy and a 17 year old girl that got shot. So 2 people shot was true, no idea why or what happened yet.

Those changes actually make sense that’s what went wrong last night IMO to many jist sitting and hanging out in the parking lot
I was at game last night. Tickets were only sold online for Appo for all there sports which sucks when you show up and have to access through phone. There were two incidents maybe three that I noticed. 1. Kid ran on field when band started playing at halftime. He was escorted out immediately after. Second was a large group of kids from Middletown started to just run for no reason to cause panic but again nothing came of it. And at mid 4th quarter a girl fight broke out and admin walked the girl out without incident. All the other nonsense was outside stadium by people who probably came just for that reason (to cause issues).
If they don’t shut down Florida FNL, they aren’t shutting down Delaware’s. Just going to have more rules and maybe police enforcement at games.
Hope so I love FNL. They just need to control the shit out front. Maybe clear the parking lots and out front of the stadium if you don’t side a ticket.
It’s what Delaware does if your trailgsting - you gotta have a ticket
