Mtown (3-2) @ Hodgson (4-1). Mtown has wins over Ai, Concord and a close win over Dickinson 7-6 but lost big to Archmere (11-3) and was upset by WmPenn. They are led by Mccallister, Peluse & Maniatas. Hodgson won 8-2 over St Georges in the Stenta Cup and has big wins over Dickinson (14-0) and Howard (17-0) as well as a close win against Appo (2-1). Their only loss came at the hands of St Marks in a respectable 4-1 game. Hodgson is led by Walter (3-0) & Sayers on the hill and the plate with Meddings, Hunter, Bell, Jones and Pacana.
Charter (4-0) @ Caravel (4-0). GAME OF THE DAY. Charter has yet to be tested with wins over Newark, Glasgow, Bwine, and St E. They are led at the plate by Baker, Buckery and Harris. Caravel got an exciting walk off win against Sallies early 5-4. They also have had big wins over Cape (10-0), and out of states Penn Charter (11-2) and Patterson Mill (6-0). Caravel's pitchers are Hart & Bilous both 2-0. Bilous, Corbitt,Zwier, Fraley, Adams, Juhl and Robinson lead the team at the plate. Caravel's record is 7-1 over Charter in the past 7 years but since 2009, they have been no more than 3 run games except last year's 7-2 Caravel win.
Archmere (4-1) @ DMA (4-1). Both of these teams came off their first losses of the season yesterday. DMA lost a close one to ST Georges while Archmere fell flat against St Marks in a 12-1 blowout. Archmere has big wins over Mtown, WP & Conrad and a close win over Poly. Archmere is led on the mound and plate by Deely and Voge. Seems its Deely time tonight on the bump? DMA has been untested with wins over Delcastle, DPPS, St Thomas More & Glasgow. Henderson and Brittingham are there two aces. Henderson pitched last night so it could be Brittingham who is 2-0. At the plate they are led by Hill, Serafin, Gillis.
Sussex Tech (4-1) @ Dover (5-0). Sussex Tech has wins over CR, Seaford, Wood & Glasgow and their only defeat to a good Smyrna team 5-4. Tech is led on the mound with Deleon, Richardson, Jones and Hearn. Offensively the team has 5 homers from Magee (2 in one game), Richardson, Guinta, Bergh. They also get good production from Hearn, Deleon & Ryan. Dover was untested at 4-0 with wins against Delmarva, IR, Wood & Cape outscoring their opponents 56-6. Their big test was against 5-0 Delmar the other day. Dover came up real big with a 6-0 no hitter by Tyler Cullen. Cullen has pitched a shutout and a no hitter this season. Lawson & Willey combined for a perfect game to start the season. At the plate they are led by Spadafino, Stone, Jenkins & Hutchins who have all homered as well as Graham and Thomas.
