Junior Ron Reed (Smithville, NJ) scored 26 points as Goldey-Beacom College used 57 second-half points to defeat Felician College 81-75 Thursday night in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men’s basketball action at MBNA America Hall.
Junior Jeremy Jeanne (Paris, France) added 15 points and four assists while sophomore Brian Faustin (Huntington, NY) and freshman Derek Savage (Lincoln, DE) each scored 11 points as the Lightning (4-17, 3-11 CACC) snapped a four-game losing skid.
Sadot Williams led the Golden Falcons (11-10, 8-6 CACC) with 16 points while Thomas Johnson added 11 points and Raffinee Williams finished with 10 points.
The Lightning shot just 23.3% from the field in the first half and trailed by five going to halftime at 29-24. In the second half, Goldey-Beacom shot a sizzling 67.9% from the field to hold off Felician, which shot 51.5% in the second stanza.
The Lightning return to action this Saturday when they host Post University at 3 p.m.
