Alesha Clayton scored 24 points and Diane Burns added 23 points as Felician College held off a late rally to defeat Goldey-Beacom College 91-88 Thursday night in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women’s basketball action at MBNA America Hall.

Sophomore Kim Rowley (Dover, DE) scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Lightning, who trailed by 21 points at 77-56 with 9:59 remaining in regulation. Goldey-Beacom outscored the Golden Falcons 32-14 the rest of the way despite being outrebounded 54-47 on the evening. The Lightning had an opportunity to tie the game with nine seconds remaining but freshman Natasha Scott (Philadelphia, PA) – who finished with 19 points and eight rebounds - could not connect on a three-point field goal attempt.
