Kent County (MD) is hosting their annual wrestling tournament on December 16th and 17th this year and I'm looking for a few teams to fill it out. The format will be the same as in years past with Day 1 (Friday, Dec. 16th) and the morning of Day 2 (Saturday, Dec. 17th) consisting of a round robin and then shifting down to a 4-person bracket for the top-wrestlers on Saturday afternoon. Varsity wrestlers can expect between 5-7 matches. We will also still have our JV tournament going on as well. JV wrestlers can expect between 3-4 matches.
Last year, Middletown High School was the only Delaware team to participate in the tournament and they finished in second place. I'm hoping to get a few more Delaware teams involved. Participation will be on a first come, first serve basis.
