It's back to pre-pandemic tournament criteria. That means field hockey teams need to play 12 games and volleyball 13 to be eligible for their tournaments. Teams that have a COVID outbreak that shuts them down for 2 weeks, potentially sending them below that minimum, are out of luck.
There is no mandated minimum spacing between volleyball players on the bench, although 3 feet is recommended. That decision will be made by the host school.
