Friends 31-0 over my Zion at half. MZP has some athletes that are very good, but penalties and turnovers killing them. A pick six, fumbled punt snap deep in their end, another fumble and int. Did go about 70 yards quick at the end of the second quarter.
Kind of shocking. I expected them to be sloppy but they blew out Bishop O'C and stayed within 3 tds of Calvert Hall and McDonogh. People are gonna have to start asking just how good Friends is. Like best in the state good? At least top 5 for sure

MZP fft, 3 minutes left in 3rd. Got heated over personal foul call and what down it should be. MZP coach called it. 34-0 at that point.

Not surprising from that coach. Always has a everyone against us victim mentality. Controversy everywhere he has been. He will go back railing how the refs in DE are crooked and cheated his kids blah blah to anyone that will listen.
Worst part is the kids were still playing hard. Stopped Friends at the end of the half, had a good drive and held Friends to field goal on two drives in second half.
Yes and all playoff points count. As for the pool we usually pull fft wins from the board but in this case I am going to count it.
I'd hate for Friends to be robbed because of pettiness.

MZP parents were not happy. Two hour drive up to have the coach call it. Coach's contention was the refs were unfair and he didn't want his players embarrassed. Kids were still playing hard and it was good football for a while.
Unfortunately that is the risk you take when you play these fly by night unsanctioned shady programs. I get why Friends scheduled them , they were available late. The reason they were available is because some schools dropped them late because it was discovered they weren't sanctioned by anyone. Kind of like ECA in 2012 . Well exactly like that
This isn't his first time doing this either, Earlier this season a game got called early in the 4th because this coach was crying the whole second half and the refs had enough and tossed him. Then he refused to leave so the refs called the game. There are some videos of him online acting like an ass at some 7v7 tournaments as well.
On the flip side, the MZP parents were great fans for the team. They congratulated Friends coaches for having the team ready to play and were gracious toward the players. They were really unhappy with the coach, and that is probably an understatement.
Guys a nut job imo, I feel bad for the young men that are learning from that whacko
Life gets tough, quit and blame someone else and if that doesn’t work use the race card….great life lesson coach…

SPL teams should schedule the FCA Bucks if they need games. They are more legit than this clown show.

You can only ride Treyvon Diggs coat tail so long. Diggs will wake up and stop co-signing this guy. one would think anyway
Fired by who?. He is the football program. Just like the basketball coaches are the program. It's not a real school like with a headmaster or teachers or anything like that. The parents who let there kids go there should fire him by getting their kids out and back to a real program. He is a good salesman though from what I hear. Good at selling them getting a football scholarship and NIL money, play on National stage. All the bullshit. 1st year not going so well in that regard lol
