Penn Charter is actually having an invitational. Hill Academy, Springfield, Seton Hall Prep, Episcopal, Delbarton, Conestoga will be there also. Should be some great lax

Damn thats awesome. Some great teams on that list should be a lot of fun.

I am interested to see the Appo Kennett scrimmage. My son knows a few kids at Kennett and they have some really good young talent. They also just got a new coach.

Agreed they got some good local kids that went there instead of Sallies. A few good Freedom players.

Spalding is not one of your better MIAA Lax teams.. still should be a decent scrim with CR

Its all relative a good or average MIAA or Interact is better then 99% of the teams in DE. Spaulding beat Aquinas last year and they beat Sallies 11-4. Definitely not BL, Calvert Hall, etc but still better then DE schools.

True enough, was talking to a coach and said had some MD teams up in a scrimmage a few years ago and Malvern. Malvern vs Severna was like watching an MLL game. Was pretty funny.

I think Stoga is the Pa champion. Would love to see them have a game with the Sals.

True enough, was talking to a coach and said had some MD teams up in a scrimmage a few years ago and Malvern. Malvern vs Severna was like watching an MLL game. Was pretty funny.

yeah the whole Severna Park area is a Lax hotbed

Anyone watch some of the scrimmages?

I was at Friends / Kenneth / Appo. Appo won both and beat Friends pretty bad. Friends is young - graduated a ton and lost Peyton McNeill to an ACL tear. Sucks for that kid, good player and seems like a nice kid.

Any Sallies parents on hear or fans that were at those scrimmages yesterday?

Sallies lost to seton hall prep and Springfield. Springfield game didn't really use any starters. Beat Conestoga. Seemed to be more about testing freshman/sophomores to see who will make varsity. all of the teams that were there (except for the Hill) didn't have their juniors for most of the day due to SAT's

Sounds like Sallies play the younger kids. That Seton Hall Prep team is gong to be nasty, they got a FR class full of high evne kids from BBL, Patriot and Leading Edge to all go to SHP and try to beat Delbarton. Usually they all go to Delbarton.

Episcopal beat up on Delbarton pretty good. Hard to tell in these early scrimmages if teams are playing all of their talent or trying out new kids. Either way it was nice getting to see some great lacrosse.

Any downstate fans on here?

Heard Cape has some great teams down there this weekend - Malvern, Ridgewood, Saverna Park, and Penn Crest.

Wondering how they did? Some real good teams in that group.

Appo beat Dover and Arch Bishop Wood pretty good today but lost to Holy Ghost Prep from Philly. Think it was like 5-2.

Overall Appo looks good should compete this year.
