Delmarva Christian scored 4 unearned runs in the 5th inning and held on for the win behind a strong pitching performance from Lilli Showacre. She gave up one earned run on 4 hits while striking out 7. Lily Hutt led the way offensively for the Royals with 2 hits and 2 RBI.

Madge Layfield struck out 13 while allowing only 4 hits.

Woodbridge 10 Sussex Academy 3 : Carson Gesuero had 4 strikeouts in 3.2 innings pitched. Caelynn Jorgensen had one of SAAS's 4 hits, she had an RBI and scored a run.
Emily Peterson pitched a complete game and struck out 4. Woodbridge had 12 hits, Caroline Scott was 3-4 with a triple and scored 2 runs. Laney Scott, Payton Keeler and Kalli Chelton all had 2 hits. Payton Keeler, Parker Keeler and Emily Peterson each had 2 RBI's and scored a run.

Lake Forest Varsity Spartans nabbed the lead late in the game in a 3-2 victory over St. Georges Tech Hawks Varsity on Tuesday. The game was tied at two with Lake Forest Varsity Spartans batting in the bottom of the sixth when Carley Rebuck singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Carah Sumpter struck out eight, while Hailey Burris sat down nine.

Sumpter was on the rubber for Lake Forest Varsity Spartans. The pitcher went seven innings, allowing two runs on six hits, striking out eight and walking one.

Burris was in the circle for St. Georges Tech Hawks Varsity. The bulldog went six innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out nine.

Katelyn Bell went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Lake Forest Varsity Spartans in hits.

Natalie Santoleri led St. Georges Tech Hawks Varsity with two hits in three at bats.

Milford 19 Newark 0 Milford and Newark opened the 2022 Season at Newark High School and Milford pitcher Khyliah Reynolds had a fantastic start to her season. Throwing a no-hitter and striking out 11 Yellowjacket batters. Lillie Harrison, Rayla Burris and Ashley Bullock each had a double and Kha'Lyn Tilghman had a triple. Lillie Harrison was a perfect 3 for 3 on the day with a walk and drove in two runs. Khyliah Reynolds, Ashley Bullock and Cheyenne Frieze each scored three times.

William Penn 19 Odessa 0
For William Penn, Madelyn Pritchard picked up the win, throwing 3 innings, allowing 3 hits and striking out 8. Rachel Haight threw a scoreless 4th inning. Pritchard went 4-4 at the plate with 3 RBI's and scored 2 runs. Madison Perry had 2 hits, 2 RBI's and scored 2 runs. Sabrie Purnell had 2 hits, 2 RBI's, and scored 3 runs. Haight had 2 hits. Shelby Osborne had a hit and scored 3 runs. Carly Gilbert and Sam Thompson each had 2 hits. Thompson also had 5 RBI's.

For Odessa, Addison Hurst, Haley Hibbard, and Ella Carroll each had a hit.
Concord 15 Mt. Pleasant 0
Concord's offense was led by Rylee Waslyn who had 3 hits and 3 RBI's including a 2 run homerun and a double and Mackenzie Weinkowitz with 3 hits and 2 RBI's including a two-run double and a triple. Rachel Waslyn had 3 hits with 2 RBI's including an RBI triple and a double, Samantha Fyock had 3 hits and an RBI, and Madison Michulka with 2 hits and 3 RBI's which included a 2 run RBI double. Gigi Calderara pitched 3 strong innings recording 1 hit with 6 strikeouts and Bella Neef pitched the last two with no hits and 3 strikeouts. Tori Lawson had a hit for Mt. Pleasant.

Sportsmanship coins were awarded to Gigi Calderara(Concord) and Caroline Gilligan(Mt.Pleasant)

Conrad 18 MOT Charter 0 Bella McKee threw a no-hitter while striking out 10. Ellie Baldwin blasted a grand slam to pace the Red Wolves. McKee , Pesce & Ramirez added 2 hits each.

Red Lion 6 Middletown 5
Red Lion trailed early in the game allowing 5 runs on 4 errors. R. Mendick put Red Lion on the boad with a double in the 4th scoring M. Meginniss. The score remained the same until the 6th when R. Mendick hit a solo HR and K. Saienni hit a 3 run blast to tie the game. In the top of the 7th P. Pusey led off with a double and M. Meginniss doubled down the line to score Pusey. Edwards threw the complete game not allowing a run after the second inning.

S. Montgomery and P. McGonigal had multiple hits for Middletown. R. Founds thew a solid game striking out 5.
Newark Charter 15 First State Military Academy 0
Newark Charter pitchers Olivia Stubblebine and Rylie Ennis lead the patriots in the circle throwing a combined no hitter including 13 strikes. The team rallied behind them collecting 17 hits over 5 innnings. Ashlee Trala, Jocelynn Mitchell, Kennedy Pavlekovich and Kylie Parker each had multiple hits.
