Allow me to introduce our full time assistant coaches for the 2024 Delaware Military Academy Boy's Lacrosse Team.
Jon Howell (Defensive Coordinator) started playing lacrosse for DMA back in 2011. As a senior Jon was first team all conference, conference defensive player of the year, and an all state selection. Jon continued his lacrosse career at Centenary University in New Jersey where he was named 2nd team all conference as a freshman. Jon then transferred back home to Wilmington University as they formed their team in Division 2. As a senior Jon was 1st team all conference and defensive player of the year. Back in 2021 and 2022 Jon served as defensive coordinator along side Coach Kevin Walker here at DMA.
Charlie Kitchen (Offensive Coordinator) grew up in Marlton, NJ and attended St Augustine Prep for High School. In 2016 he began his career at University of Delaware where he started all 5 seasons.
He won Conference Player of The Year and was added to the watchlist for the nation's highest honor in College Lacrosse, The Tewaaraton Award. In 2021 he was drafted by Albany FireWolves of the NLL in the 2nd round. He also then joined the PLL Waterdogs that following summer where we won the championship.
