Looking forward..on to 2023

What are some questions moving forward?

Has CR job been filled or is there an odds on favorite?

@SmyrnaOnTop who is QBNext for the Eagles. Will the coach's son step in and take over as a Freshman or is there someone else to take the helm for the next year or two?

Smyrna will be Knightless for the first time in a decade. Holman gone also. Who will protect the kingdom going forward?

Middletown? 2 games to schedule. Do they stay trying to play the recruited up national teams or schedule more locally and reasonably? Does Blum survive the off season or does MT move on from the drama?

DMA where do they go from here? Do they benefit from the transfer portal or do their players head south to the MOT area, Kent County or out of state schools?

Will the Sussex County teams rise again?

Any ballers coming into DE from Maryland, New Jersey, PA? If so where from and where they going to?

2022-23 Girls' Basketball Season Thread

The chase for the chip officially begins today. Teams are still scrimmaging but there are a couple of regular season games on tap:

Newark at St. Georges
Dickinson at Tower Hill
Sussex Central at Laurel

I'll update this thread throughout the season with impressions of teams, games and players and feel free to hop in with your thoughts.

Reclass

How do you think the reclass will go up willingly or who will get forced to move up and who will go down?

I have heard that Odessa is asking to move up. I also heard that Brandywine want to move down. What are the chances that Laurel and St E’s will move up since they have been in the ship that last two years? I think that they both should move up.

Will anyone move up to 3A or drop out? I know CR is struggling but they have a huge number of students but are they cut out for 3A? I know they are getting a new coach but is that going to change the culture? Hopefully the new coach will bring them back to the program they used to be.
