I don't get it. The loosing team has a choice to start the running clock sooner if they choose to. It doesn't have to wait until halftime. At 45-0 you pull the plug.
According to the Max Prep rankings, IMG is a 61 point favorite. They beat Pine Richland, Pa, this year 42-0. PR is the defending Pa 6A champs and have destroyed 6 opponents in a row since the opening game loss to IMG. Plus the IMG game was at PR! Hope MT gets out without injuries.
Funny thing is IMG got smacked by Columbia HS in FL - how ****ing good is HS football in FL damn.
That being said I have been to IMG many times and I can tell you win or lose it will be a cool experience for MTown players.
IMG has only one loss, to Mater Dei. Who is Columbia?
Also, while I also hope they get to see the IMG campus, the game itself has been moved off-campus to Manattee High School.

I’m aware they drove to Massillon for the beating, hence they were in Ohio.

Yeah it was there A team but it was a scrimmage so who knows what happened.
IMG seems weaker then last few years from what I have seen but end of day there gonna whip MT.

Yeah I follow this stuff closely - largely due to recruiting. It was there A because Baldwin was playing - the 3/4* QB - as was Trey Sanders (#1 RB in the country)
But again it was a scrimmage so maybe they just played for 5 minutes....etc
Also anything out of state is always the A team. The B team plays all Florida teams.
It was the preseason classic the teams play the week before the season starts in Florida. Teams typically play that as a real game. IMG was still just getting to know each other and still wearing name tags I am guessing. Like others suggested maybe not all the players may have been there yet or still learning the play book lol so who knows.. but yes IMG is not as strong as last year and the Columbia FL team is 6-1 ranked 7 in FLA would have been ranked top 25 nationally had they not lost to Trinity Christian 31-30 a couple weeks ago so they are no slouch of a team . None the less IMG is still a top 5 team Nationally and wont have any problem putting a running clock on MT

I'm sure about them not being as strong as before. A 28-24 loss to matre dai from California is nothing to be ashamed of. Not to mention smoking the 6a Pennsylvania champ 42-0. That Richland Pa team has smoked everyone by 35-40 since.
A does play some FL teams like Heritage, Miami Central, etc. But usually better then Columbia - which is good but its not top tier in FL.
It’s all relative! When you have a 51-4 record any team that has one of those loses “is a down team” but still better then %99.9999 teams in the country. So yeah there good.
Oops. I meant I'm not sure about them not being as good. They definitely are.
