I’d say the strongest weight class would be 120. I think having two state champs followed by a state finalist and many state placers makes it not just impossible to win (if you aren’t Stratton)Strongest Weight - 132 unless Bellarin drops then 126 gets more interesting
Weakest - 175 *gonna give 113 a close second
Wide Open - 106
Biggest “Lock” - Radecki & Stratton
Guess I say 175 over 157 cause I’m not sure 150 #1 goes up and wins 157 but I think #1 at 165 could go up and wins 175. In my opinion based on past results.Strongest 126/132/120
Weakest hands down 157
Wide open 113
Biggest lock - Elliot at 157 by far the easiest weight class
You may be underestimating Elliot. Not his fault the weight class is weak, but he’s a tough wrestler.157 needs to stay at 157 I strongly believe if 157 dropped to 150 he doesn’t win it and if he goes up to 165 he doesn’t win it. 157 is a one horse race extremely weak weight class
I don’t know if I agree with that sentiment. During the first half of the year I think I would have agreed but I think Campanelli is a clear favorite. I believe he wrestled last year at Tatnall so he has the experience. I think he would be some of the top guys from 106. However If a 120 pounder drops down it’s a different story.113 is wide open. It would not surprise me if a couple of 106s move up to chase a championship. Probably be smart for them.
Catania had big decisive wins over Donato and Perrin. But Decker did beat Catania early in the season.
