Caravel wasn't getting paid by DMA for use of field? Ironic because they have money to pay for Baynard.

No Caravel let them use it for free as well as let them collect the admission. Caravel did run and collect from the concession stand though which was minimal as DMA games didn't bring huge crowds and CA was lucky to break even on the concessions for Sat noon games...

Caravel needed games for last season and expected DMA to play them and Aviola refused .. Caravel had to schedule 4 out of state games 3 of them away... yet they (DMA-Aviola) schedule Sallies and St. Marks?? really? .... So even if CA did purposely stick it to Aviola I wouldn't have a problem with it.. Although I don't think its the case here .. QB was just trying to make a play and it resulted in a TD while up 29-0

ST E's wasn't some beaten down team down 35-0 a running clock in the second half getting players carted off the field.. It was 14-0 in the 4th quarter and ST 's was still fighting...

RR- you are correct that something IS there between some schools/coaches Its the same something that people do not or refuse to understand why other teams wont schedule their team of choice etc. It is the same something that has occurred for as long as I can remember. I will just leave it at that, no sense in going any further...what befuddles me is why some people just do not get some things.

Sounds to me that this was a game that would have benefitted both teams, one more than the other. Guess you really can't complain about not having a place to play, if you passed on a deal like CA was offering.

Its the same deal pencader had plus caravel has let youth teams and leagues use their field as well....
