I'm calling it now....Middletown and Dover In the D1 title game. Unless Middletown comes back from Florida hurting then Hodgson/Dover

D2 is so wide open but DMA looks real good and St Marks has a D1 line AI is rolling as well Cant just pencil in Woodbridge or Delmar right now

As for Dover what I like about them beyond the Dynamic Duo is unlike in years past they are coachable and can play D as evident in their 2nd half vs WB Its been said they have no passing game but I know that is bunk Maybe they haven't shown it yet but I watched them in 7 v 7and the QB can toss the rock Maybe like a good gunfighter its their one in the chamber just saying lol

Penn is not a quality opponent.. The jury is out on Smyrnas defense as well,, none the less MT O is potent no doubt. Fry daddy can cook up some fish and chips for sure, They are the clear favorite in D1 this year no doubt..but bad things can happen when you start smelling yourself... just saying Dover looks hungry and they wanna eat too
You do have a valid point though.. Archmere and Woodbridge dont posses any pass threat so we don't know if Dover D can handle MT passing attack or even their balanced attack Like the Senator fan posted before if Dover can keep teams to 3 scores or less they will win.. I don't (at this point ) think they can do that vs Mtown.. It will take 6 scores for them to beat MT but that is doable with the DD IMHO

You are correct. It was 63-40 shoot out. I also looked up a 42-36 lose to CR in 2009. That was it. I checked back to 2007.
I think it was 63-40. It was said to be the highest scoring game in tournament era. It was 42-40 at halftime I believe and it was to this day the best game I have seen. With the Middletown-Smyrna game from week 1 last year as my second. Dover had one hell of a team back then. They came into the game on coach buses, police escort and sirens going off. Pretty epic for a Semifinal game.

I just brought up 7v7 to say Dover QB is capable of passing. That said 7v7 heavily favors the offense. You should score every time. The game is won by the D making a stop or two. At least at the higher levels. I watched Red Lion/ECA win every tournament they entered for three years and David Sills was the best 7v7 QB in the country. Point being 7v7 is a different game but you can see if a team has the potential to have a good passing game and I think Dover can provided they can pass block. Which obviously you can’t discern from 7v7
