Appo at Glasgow

Glasgow wins 72-58
I saw Glasgow lose to Red Lion earlier in the season. This looked like a totally different team. They outplayed Appo from start to finish. They were just the better team tonight. I went to the game because I wanted to see Cale. But Devon Earl was the show tonight. I've seen Earl play 3 or 4 times previously, and he's shown flashes of brilliance, but nothing like tonight. He was flat out spectacular. Him alone was worth the trip over in the rain and the $5 entry fee.

Devon Earl was easily the best player on the court tonight. Finished with 25 and looked like a easily at least 8 assist , Glasgow outplayed appo all 4 quarters and appo to me seem to struggle in a half court offense and had a lot of sloppy turnovers. Glasgow 3 guards (Earl, Johnson, Carter) are the real deal and will be very tough and interesting come playoff time. 8-4 and just picked up a big win on top 10 team , look for Glasgow to upset more team later in the season
Agree with hoop culture. They are a scrappy team. Good win Glasgow.. Can we give these guys their credit now ? Earl,Carter,Johnson once again dominating ... Glasgow will pick up some points for this win
Possibly, but they've always been Myles and not much else. Not a lot of people can coach around that.
I do believe someone called the Glasgow coach incompetent a couple weeks ago. Bet that foot is tasting real good right now.
Great coaching staff over at Glasgow, from top to bottom and the addition of Coach Aquil is huge! Excited to see them in the playoffs. Just hoping they aren't all regular season performers like the football team this past fall. But Appo has been flying above their talent for years. Myles is a great player, but he is all they have and he seems to be very limited at times. Watched them in the upstate vs downstate classic and he didn't dominate like a D1 signed prospect should. Appo and their hype remind me of the AJ years. Great player with talent but overall average ball club.

I think I'd agree with that statement based upon what I saw last night.
Cale did not have a great game last night but you can tell, he's extremely talented. He did not shoot the ball from outside well at all. I've only seen him play twice so I don't know if that is normal for him. I think he got a little frustrated last night when his team around him was not supporting him at all. Then his coach kept benching him, and he just never seemed to get into any kind of rhythm in the game.
From watching myles this season I have noticed his outside shot and free throws are not the same as last years myles Cale.
Forgot to mention that. He had a bad night shooting free throws too last night.
Check out previous games stats and you will see more less than stellar #'s from the foul line. Say what you want about both English players attitudes, they still got the numbers day in and out.
