Interesting. I never read his stuff. I was responding to raven who obviously knows what happened in the game.

Reeder was like a man among boys Saturday night on both sides of the ball! UD is getting an awesome player there! Shipman-Scott fro MP and Woodruff from SGT were both impressive too. The Gold O-line was overwhelmed all night. Tons of sacks for the Blue. Also thought the Gold QB - Tristan Harris from Dover - was impressive (even though he had to run for his life most of the night). Very disappointing turnout though - only 3800 paid attendance.

I was appalled Saturday with the disgraceful lack of support from Delaware's sports fans and DFRC "friends". The stands were empty with no more than 3000 +/- in attendance. Even worse, the players who opted not to play to attend Firefly - a slap in the face to a wonderful institution and a once in a lifetime opportunity for the kids. Sad how priorities change. So hard to believe and stomach.

Well said, Stick. I hate to be the old guy talking about the old days but the B-G crowds used to fill half the stadium at a minimum. Players and coaches considered it an honor to participate in the B-G events.

Nothing wrong with kids opting for something else, like Firefly. Firefly has become a massively popular event. It's hard to blame kids for wanting to enjoy themselves before heading off to college.

Yes I was then now he left our community said he decided that he was not homosexual and I respect his choice. To each his own he broke my heart but i ended up ok
