Bye week

I have recently moved to VA beach and have seen some great football in the 757. I know a bye week is common in most states when it comes to high school football; I was wondering if DE ever had or ever considered having one bye week during the regular season? What are your thoughts on a bye week? Just curious...

Delaware used to have a bye week but got rid of it once the playoffs were expanded to the current format. You used to have 11 weeks to play 10 games.
