MT is too good of a team to lose two in a row. I like the senior leadership vs a young Sals team so I’ll go MT 30 Sals 17

This is a matter of faith. The Sals should not win this game by any stretch. Some how they are so young they don't know any better. They win on a FG in the last minute 17-14. No other details needed.

Depends. I like MT because Fry dominates everyone and everything with a couple exceptions

Are they playing Smyrna in a game that counts?

No.

That means Fry will dominate IF it isn’t raining. If his socks get wet he is no longer on auto-domination mode.

My predictions- MT wins with good weather. Bad weather- MT also wins because Sallies typically has a number of way too old for high school kids and bad weather messes with old people’s joints I’m told.

MT 45-18

Perfect Analysis

This game will be closer than some suspect. Middletown has a horrible head coach, and let’s not forget they haven’t won a championship in years with so called great players. Smyrna has owned the state in football. Middletown will suffer a great decline after this year, because there are several teams that have been rebuilding. Good Luck Cavaliers but there won’t be a Championship this year either.

24-14 Sals. The weather will get to Fry. Middletown coming off a tough loss that will get in their head. Sallies knows their gameplan this time. I personally think this game will come down to kicking. Hopefully Duffy from Sals will step up.

Neither MHS or Sallies game plan has changed the last 3yrs against each other .... and the outcome has been the same every time .

Middletown wins 35-14. The sals young team is not in the same league as the cavs. Then cavs avenge loss to HVT and go on to the championship.

I agree that I don’t think either coach does much to help their respective teams. But the Cavaliers are the more talented team. But I will say Fry needs to have a big game, in a big game! And until Middletown hoist the trophy my opinion won’t change.

So other than Smyrna the last 2 years in the Championship game , IMG ( the # 3 ranked team in the country) & HVT last weekend, you saying the Cavs haven’t played in any “ big games “ ?

That’s not at all what I’m saying. What I’m saying is Fry is a back to back Allstate QB with a great arm that seems to be surrounded by multiple weapons. I’d like to see him dominate and just take the game over in a playoff and/or championship atmosphere. He doesn’t have to win the game by himself. But when it matters most I’m sure they’ll look to him to pull it out. I follow all the schools and their sports teams in the MOT area. Some are really good, some are really bad. It would be ashame if this Middletown team couldn’t get it done with the rosters they’ve had over the last 4 years.

Pretty sure he has played well in most of those games ... e.g. last years Championship game he played very well ; definitely not the reason the team was defeated

Relax. I never once said they don’t have a title because of Fry. What I did say, and I’ll say it again, is with all the talent the QB has and the talent on the roster I’d like to see him take over in a playoff/ championship setting. And it would be ashame to see this class leave without a title. It’s just an opinion. No reason for you to take it personally. I’m pulling for the Cavs!

Sals has improved since I saw them Week 2 against Sussex Tech, but Middletown at home is too much to pass up on.

Give me the Cavs 28-14.

Dad. No one is saying anything bad about him. Chill dad dad daddy-o

Attention all Sal Gals, try getting there on (earth) time. Be a toll dodger and get off last exit...
13 south, power R on Harris, power R on Noxontown, power R on 71 and you will miss some of the Drive at 5 Townie Traffic.

Fry is undoubtedly a very special player, nonetheless Middletown had the kid Ken Edelin last year but chose to showcase #16. I don’t want to take anything away from #16, however the other kid could of assured them a Championship if somebody knew how to Coach. Middletown has some great talent with bad coaching. They need a new offensive coordinator.

One could easily exchange "Sals" with "Cavs" if it was 2010. St. Marks SENIORS turned it up the second half.

I am expecting good football tonight and the next 2 seasons from both. Even Cassius Clay had Larry Holmes.

Larry Holmes was one of Muhammad Ali's chief sparring partners for his title fight with Foreman in October 1974.

What was in in 2012, 35-0 and 27-0. Middletown is good. Not 2012 good but they are priming for a return bout with Hodgson....

True, but wet joints can also cause severe problems. NIH and other medical sources confirm this. Ref the following study:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3568288/
U know, i had little doubt that wet and cold conditions while standing on the sidelines could not be good for my body. Therefore, I almost didn't check out what was sure to be something Captain Obvious already knew. However, as always Bummy your link was very informative. TY

I really don't think MT should be allowed to use the bells against Sals. It might trick the gents into thinking the Eucharist is in the process of being consecrated.
