Tough one for Cape. It was there for the taking and they completely folded in the 4th.
Hats off to Sallies, being able to win with the injuries they had is impressive.
As for the game, officiating was pretty bad, but thats not an excuse for anyone. You gotta get it done no matter what. I think that this was Cape's best chance in the last couple years but Sallies yet again shows their championship pedigree and resolve to get their third in a row. Although these two teams dominate so much, it is enjoyable watching good lacrosse and close games in the championship these past 5 years. Rest of Delaware needs to step it up.

Cape's defense made crucial stops, but the offense wasn't always able to capitalize. Lost all energy and momentum after a few piss-poor mistakes in the 4th. Crushing loss similar to last year's, ending in the same score.
Sallies shocked Cape at the faceoff X which was really interesting, and definitely shook Cape off their gameplan.
Very entertaining game nonetheless. Would like to hear nominees for POTY.

Great game and fun to watch. Congrats to the Sals and Cape on great seasons
