He hasn't been at St E's since they came back from Spring Break. Now, I have been told he might be at Glasgow. So it's either Smyrna or Glasgow, definitely not St E's.. Either school will get a big boost in football and basketball.

Smyrna good move, however Glasgow is nuts. To many knuckleheads in that environment causing class disruptions, fighting, being fake tough guys etc that distract kids from focusing. That's a huge step down from St. E or Smyrna. I hope it's Smyrna.

Sometimes kids need to be packed up & sent away from delaware to get refocused. Glasgow high is definitely not the place to make any academic come back. 40% or more of the kids in that place belong in reform school, not a good environment.

Lets keep moral b.s out. Blogs are speculative agenda promoting environments. Either an agenda is for or against something but it's still an agenda. Let's not get self righteous. If u not adding facts u only contributing to the speculations. Social media not the place for emotions or even facts, just agendas.

Wow. That's crazy to talk down on a school with no facts. Glasgow has a lot of great kids who are doing great things. The unfortunate part is people come on here are talk crazy abt a place with no real knowledge. The football team has 3 highly recruited players right now. I hear they are all great kids with great academic backgrounds. If they listened to half the foolishness on this site they would have gone other places. Cropper mixed with those kids would be a great look. I think basketball and football will have very good seasons next year.

Nobody disagrees with the fact that a lot of good kids attend Glasgow, I know many and their parents. I Know Glasgow, Newark, Christiana very well. Glasgow has a 67% graduation rate a 36-100 rating, far below the national & state average. The police contantly responding to incidents of violence. Very difficult environment for kids to learn. I would not send my kid their unless economically I had no choice. A lot of successful people have graduated from that school but that environment has changed with the times.

Lol. My nephew attends Glasgow. He transfered in from Appo. He said the police being called in, fights nonstop are fictional. He has been there 2 years and not once has police been called. Come on mannnnn. Is it the best environment...no. But it is not as bad as the outsiders say. He has a 4.0 and has a recruiting visit set up this weekend to Villanova. His best friend plays qb and has interest from UVA. He told me to check out the team's site at dragonsfootball.weebly.com. If they can do it, so can Cropper or anyone else who wants to succeed and put in work.

If u gonna hype your nephew say his name so at least we know who u talking about. What year is he in, what are his stats? Has he made all state etc. Glasgow is 5-5 barely made 500 in football last season. 0 players made all state or listed as top performers.Basketball is starting to recover with the new coach. What's the names of these big time D1 prospects u got in football? Sadly, In recent history Glasgow high has become more identified with failure rather than success

I guess we will agree to disagree. College coaches give 2 shits about allstate. They know it is political. The bottom line is do you have college level ability and grades to match. My nephew is Michael Credle. I am not on here to promote him that's why no name was mentioned. He has been invited to a few junior days already. Was at Del St and has Villanova, Delaware and a few other FCS schools set up. The other players (Jasaan Cunningham and Isaiah Wilson) have been to Rutgers, UVA, Villanova and others as well. I said highly recruited. Highly recruited can be looks from FCS schools. A scholarship is a scholarship. Didnt say big time D1 Alabama/Ohio St ready guys. LOL. You are funny. Their information is on the team site if you go there. The team was 5-5 but I see them in the playoffs next year.

As far as basketball, yes they are on the rise. They should be strong next year. Earl is a beast and they have a few other guys who play well in their roles.

Watched a few of his vedios. Good size, did a good job running routs. If he grows another inch or 2 even better but overall I like his talent. Only disagreement we have is whether Glasgow is a good school. I say the environment is challenged & the tragedy of it is this is all by design. Cut in school funding resulting in elimination of programs & staffing plus the non descriminative admission of kids into the school with known criminal pass. Many districts have stricter guidelines that push problem kids down the street or to alternative programs. Newark, Christiana, Glasgow will take a kid even if they have a past that involves robbery, agg assault etc. William Penn use to do the same but now they kick those kids out which has drastically changed that school for the better. It is that small percentage of knucklehead kids that destroys the environment for kids like your nephew, those kids would be filtered out at other schools. The end result is class disruptions, disrespectful behavior towards staff & the general lack safety for kids that are trying to learn. These are just facts, it's not to tear down any public institutions, it's just the world many of our kids have to navigate. My point was if there is a choice between Smyrna, Glasgow, St. E's. Glasgow as an education environment, Glasgow doesn't have the same filters & therefore is a huge step down.

I understand what you are saying Junkie. I just feel rhetoric like that is a potential program killer. I am just glad these young men believed in their coaches vision and it is all paying off.

And thanks on the compliments. I appreciate it.

Today, Chris was back at St E's. He was gone for over a week and everyone was saying he transferred. But, I guess things have been worked out. He's a great talent so if St E's can keep him it's a plus for them. I apologize, sorry for the misinformation. Hopefully he has worked everything out. St E's would be in for a big loss if he does leave. Only time will tell, he has so much talent, I just hope he gets to use it in the best situation possible that brings him to his full potential.
