I'm betting somebody from Philly lobbied the NFL to change the call. Anything to prevent dimming of that golden horse shoe that came out of their collective a...es. Ball coming off the kicker's foot at 60 feet per second and the tip of a guy's finger deflected it ?. BS in the first degree.

If you look at the video from NBC, you could see the kick changed directions and started wobbling almost instantly. Hester got his mitt on it, give him credit.
