Colby Reeder gets Illinois Offer

I think Colby was Sallies best all-around player ever, at least back to the late 60's . I did not see players before then.

There were arguably more impactful offensive players and more impactful defensive players but nobody was so good on both sides of the ball and special teams. His strength and stamina were awesome.

I do not understand how this kid does not have at least 30 offers. This kid is the real deal.. Big, tall, fast, physical. Has academics. How can schools like Pitt, UVA, VA Tech, UNC, Ohio State, Michigan.. Etc.. He has to be a 4 star recruit IMO. Very impressive player. All you have to do is watch 3-4 clips and you can see he is a big time, big time prospect.

You know a lot of players who don't go to "camps" do not get the recognition they deserve. I am a Sallies man and I have seen many players over the years on both sides of the line and I think this kid is one of the best. IMO, he has outside linebacker written all over him. Good lateral speed and downfield he runs away from most H.S d-backs. He was very taken with Miami early but there is a coaching change there. I f Penn State offered, think he would join his brother in a second. I think with his frame and height he could support 240+ pounds, plenty adequate for FCS level.
