I am unsure of how good a position the Irish are in at #3. With the schedule being weaker this year, they are going to need to run the table to get in the dance. If Michigan ends up with one loss and ND has one loss, Michigan will get in as their loss to ND was the first game of the year.
Never underestimate the ability of Brian Kelly to lose a big game. (Northwestern and SoCal)
Of course, it doesn't make a bit of difference as Bama will roll......and a 2 loss Bama team would probably get in the dance...
