Concord at Newark

Newark hangs on to win 71-59
Nothing much going on in this one. Concord played hard and was in the game till the end. They got it down to five points in the 4th quarter before Newark pulled away. Not sure an effort like tonight will get a win for Newark in their next game vs Glasgow.
Sharpe finished with 26 (he had 21 at the half). Nice all around game for McCants. Chaz Knox DNP for Newak (on bench not dressed). Nice game for McHugh for Concord. I rarely comment about the refs, but every call in this game did seem to go in Newark's favor.

Not sure who it was, but McCants made a beeline to the locker room to talk to the young man.
If requested who is sending it. Was informed by someone that 302 sports has the video of what the concord guy did first. Also seen #24 of concord push #5 of Newark and no one mentioned that. Newark is a threat to people so that is why they don't like them , I guess. Big question is where was the concord coach at. Coach flowers. I never seen his players so disrespectful before. 21 Mchugh said something to Newark bench that got McCants roused up. Looked like Newark knew they would win. Even without Knox kid
Just watched the game on 302 Sports. Concord player intentionally put his foot out to trip the Newark player. The Newark player pushed the Concord player with his right hand. No punches thrown.
They would have won this game without him anyway. His scoring is down and he can be careless with passes sometimes as good as he is. Turnover up AI almost cost them that game.
Drumgo-Sharpe gotta control that temper just seen the incident I didn't see a foot sticking out looked like the kid reached to shake hand and he shoved him in the face must of had some bad beef during the game or something didn't think he deserved a good game smh gotta be the bigger man when your a top player in the state
Sharpe and Davis were going at it pretty hard during the game, lots of jawing and pushing. Appears it carried over into the handshake line. Refs should have put and end to it during the game.
If I'm coaching the team, and I know that Turner will no longer be a part of the team, I don't play him. I'd put players on the floor who are going to be on the team, to get them jelling together. No point in playing Turner if he's gone. I'm still not buying it that he is.
