Condolences to the family of longtime Indian River football coach Dale Steele

Longtime Indian River football coach Dale Steele passed away last weekend. I played and coached against Coach Steele and had the opportunity to coach his sons in middle school wrestling. Coach Steele was an honorable and great man. I still recall conversations with him and taking away his general philosophy of being a coach.
Steele led the Indians to the 1988 Division II state title.
