CA's Ethan Potter commits to Villanova

had offers from William and Mary, Fordham, UNH... no UD smh

It looks like Ferrante is beating Rocco when recruiting the same targets. You are right, BinB. They are really rubbing it in the Hens face...especially with the 12 wins in the last 13 games.

This is making it difficult for Tubby to rest in peace.

Did UD recruit Potter ?

Sort of but didn't offer full scholly. Reed fought hard for him as its where he wanted to go and and if they would have offered him he would have committed. Which is odd because Rocco has been hitting up DE HS coaches talking about how do we keep the DE kids home? Is it just lip service? If he really wants to keep the kids home then he has to quit offering PWO's and give out some scholly's JMO.. In any case Potter is probably better off at Nova anyway even though he lives 6 minutes from UD

Unsure of the information on these links. Ethan Potter's name doesn't currently appear on either link. In any event congratulations to the young man.

247 and Rivals aren't always accurate in who has offers.. Only if the players coaches or family reports it to them or if the player goes to one of their combines or events and reports it to them..

I have my opinions about the two D-1's failure to recruit and keep in-state talent by and large in most sports, but that's a whole other thread entirely.

Congrats to the young man!

Villanova is a hot school right now. Having a beautiful campus with a lot of new construction is helpful. It is a great location and the 2 recent national basketball titles gives them a high profile. (The basketball program's blue blood national profile is helping the FB program.)

Beating Delaware 12 of the last 13 times doesn't hurt either.
